Royal Kingdom is a brand-new royalty themed match-3 game wherein players are thrown multiple different engaging puzzles that need to be solved in order to gain important resources. While it’s imperative that you first master the matching mechanics as a new player, it’s equally important to learn more about the objects and items you will be seeing in the game. In this guide, we will be focusing on explaining all about the different items spread throughout the game in different stages.
All Items and their Uses in Royal Kingdom
Items come in different shapes and forms in Royal Kingdom. The game likes to present multiple obstacles spread across different stages and level of the main story mode. It’s important to learn more about these items and their importance in the game stages. While some items are obstacles, some others are currencies that can be used vigorously to progress even further, provided you know how to judiciously use them. Let’s check out all the items and their importance in-game:
- Boxes – Boxes can be smashed by creating matches next to them or hitting them with power-ups. After all of the boxes have been shattered, the aim for this item will be met.
- Snow – Snow can be removed by making matches on it or hitting it with power-ups. Clearing the initial snow covering reveals the ice layer beneath. After all of the ice has been removed, the aim for this item will be met.
- Ivy – Ivy can be eliminated by creating a match close to it or hitting it with a power-up. This item’s target will be completed if all of the ivy has been eradicated.
- Column – Columns can be cleared by making matches next to them or using power-ups. Each strike crushes more of the column, until it reaches its base and is cleared. When all columns have been smashed, the aim for this item will be met.
- Birdhouse and Owls – The birdhouse contains Owls, which may be gathered by making matches near to it or hitting it with power ups. Each match or hit will result in the release of an owl. When all of the owls are collected, the aim for this item will be met, and the birdhouse door will be closed.
- Chalice Box – Chalice Box can be emptied by placing matches close to it or hitting it with power-ups. Once all chalices and chalice boxes have been broken, the item’s target will be met.
- Vase – The vase can be cleared by making a match close to it or hitting it with a power-up. This item’s aim will be met once all of the vases have been broken.
- Magic Orb – Magic Orbs can be cleared by making colored matches close to them or hitting them with power-ups. Once all magic orbs have been broken, the target for this item will be met.
- Turtle – Turtle can be gathered by lowering it to the bottom of the game board. Clearing the tiles below the turtle will move it to the bottom of the board. Once all turtles have been collected, the aim for this item will be met.
- Lantern – Lanterns can be broken by creating two matches close to them or hitting them with power-ups. When a match is struck near to the lantern or a power-up is used, it will light up. When all lanterns are smashed, this item’s target will be met.
- Stone Wall – Stone Wall can be cleared by making matches next to it or using power-ups next to the same wall tile five times. When a wall tile is cleared, the complete stone wall connected to it is also cleared. When all stone walls have been cleared, the aim for this item will be met.
- Gnomes – Gnomes can be broken by hitting them with power-ups. Once all gnomes have been shattered, the aim for this item will be met.
- Snowman – Snowman can be eliminated by making matches next to it or hitting it with power-ups five times. Once a snowman is cleared, it will spew snow that requires matches or power-up hits twice. Once all of the snow from the snowmen has been spread, the goal for this item will be met.
- Steam Bomb – Steam Bomb can be activated by placing colored matches near to it or hitting it with power-ups. When activated, it destroys all tiles on the board, removes one layer from multi-layered things, and completes the item’s target.
- Knight – Knights can be broken by hitting them five times with power-ups. With the first blow from a power-up, a portion of the Knight’s suit will fall off. On the fifth impact, the object will be entirely broken. After all of the knights have been defeated, the aim for this item will be met.
