The Witch: Rebirth - Pet Tier List
People who play The Witch: Rebirth may not be familiar with how much importance the game placed on having pets. Traditional MMORPGs usually tend to place very little emphasis on pets with a lot of titles from this genre only having them as cosmetics. However, this game places pets as a core piece of your character’s power and there are many game modes that uses your companion as the star of the show.
Best The Witch: Rebirth Tier List
Players who have taken a look at our BP Rating Guide will understand that pets give a huge boost in power rating. Pets can be acquired in a variety of ways such as through the Summon system or by collecting pet shards that are acquired as a reward from quests and events. If you have limited resources, you might now know which pets you might want to get so we’ve created this tier list to showcase the most powerful companions that you can get.
Pet Tier List
Pets are categorized under rarities with the strongest types being in the SS rank. We’ll only be including pets from the SS rank since they are naturally the pets you’ll want to have since they have higher base stats and more powerful abilities as compared to S-ranked pets and below.
There are many pets in The Witch: Rebirth so it might be difficult to choose which ones you want to include on your team. In the pet arena, players can have up to three pets active which all play a different roles in combat. We’ll be ranking all the available SS pets according to how much you might want to have them in your team when competing against other players.
S Tier
The S Tier pets are the most sought-after companions in the game because they are practically irreplaceable in terms of the utility they bring to the team. You’ll always want to have these pets so that your team is hyper-efficient in combat.
- Valorous Knight
Valorous Knight is the most broken pet in the game. This unit allows all allies to gain an invincibility buff for 4 seconds and can be increased to activate longer with his talent tree upgrades. Not being able to take damage for at least 4 seconds is game-breaking as it allows your other companions to set up to defeat the enemy team.
This pet also has a decent distribution in stats with the highest being agility. The Valorous Knight is the best tank unit in the game and can be a bulky menace in the frontline and force enemies to waste their abilities on your team while you are affected by invincibility.
- Praying Spirit
Praying Spirit is a powerful healer that provides excellent support for your team. Healing is one of the most important skills in the game because it allows your team to stay in the fight longer and keep your most important units alive. Every team should have a dedicated healer and Praying Spirit is the only character in the SS lineup to have this ability.
Aside from being an extremely powerful healer, she can also be a threat on the battlefield. Since her healing spells scale with magic power, she can also deal a lot of damage to the enemy team when she’s not supporting your other units. This combination means that you don’t need to sacrifice offensive capabilities by adding a support unit to your team.
A Tier
The A Tier heroes are where the top damage units belong. There are a lot of SS units that deal tons of damage but these characters are the most efficient at their jobs and should be considered over other DPS units.
- Wither Witch
The Wither Witch definitely does not have the highest burst damage in the game but this DPS unit is a powerful attacker as its special ability stuns its target for 3 seconds. The duration of this crowd control ability is extremely devastating for the enemy team because if Wither Witch manages to hit a healer or DPS unit, the enemy team’s formation will crumble since they won’t be able to keep up with the attrition.
Many players prefer adding Wither Witch to their teams because of the utility she adds. As a DPS unit, she also deals consistent damage and can melt down even the toughest opponents. However, you should be careful because her survivability is very low so she becomes an easy target once your frontline goes down.
- Shadow Hunter
The Shadow Hunter is the most powerful AoE DPS unit in the game. This unit strikes up to 6 enemy units at the same time with its special ability, allowing your team to take down hard-to-reach enemies trying to keep safe in the back line. This ability is extremely useful and allows the player to win quickly if the enemy team doesn’t set up defensive buffs early.
Aside from her active abilities, the stats that she gets from her talent tree also make her an excellent damage-dealing companion. Having a high amount of critical strike chance and damage means that she is the DPS that you’ll always want to have on your team. She specializes in dealing raw damage so she doesn’t offer much utility but that’s okay since her output makes her more valuable than the other DPS units in the game.
B Tier
The B Tier units are powerful characters in The Witch: Rebirth that offers situational advantages to your team. They are not the weakest of the bunch but are instead choices that players may want to consider when building a team.
- Shadow Warrior
The Shadow Warrior is a powerful burst-type damage dealer capable of taking down tough opponents like tanks. This unit specializes in dealing %HP damage so even the bulkiest tank eventually falls down when he hits them enough times during the fight. He is also capable of assassinating powerful units once the frontline goes down.
Shadow Warrior only deals single-target damage so he isn’t prioritized that highly in teams. This unit also doesn’t have any utility effects to help him control the pace of the enemy team. However, if you have all those bases covered then you definitely want to have this unit wreaking havoc on your enemies.
- Elemental Lord
Elemental Lord is also another AoE-type damage dealer that deals %HP damage on the entire enemy team. This unit is extremely powerful, especially in PvP because of how much she has to offer to the player’s character.
In the pet arena, this character is also really powerful but %HP damage per second isn’t that overpowered as compared to the effects of other DPS pets. However, we still recommend adding this companion to your team and especially as your active unit when you’re trying to do quests or defeat bosses.
