Time Raiders Class Guide - Which Class is the Best For You?
GTarcade has definitely spiced up our weekend with the recent release of their new MMORPG, Time Raiders, on the global market. Players can now download this game on their phones and jump into a brand new world full of dangers and perils, as they explore intricate caves, tombs, and other ancient abandoned sites in search of artifacts and treasures. However, those who want to get the best experience with this game will definitely want to play Time Raiders on PC with BlueStacks, as our Android app player gives you the best graphics and performance on your large computer monitor, and is loaded with tons of useful tools and features to enhance your gameplay.
Time Raiders is a mobile MMORPG, which means that players will be able to choose between a variety of classes before they begin their journey. And while this game doesn’t have as many choices as others, being limited to just three starting classes, each of these also have two specializations, which can dramatically alter your play style depending on what you choose.
However, as is the case with any new game, knowing which class to choose, or which one is the best for your play style, can be quite tricky. For this reason, we’ve decided to write this brief class introduction guide for Time Raiders, in which we will go over the different classes in this game, so that you can get an idea of what to choose. Nevertheless, please remember that you can always use the BlueStacks Instance Manager to play on multiple instances at the same time, and give all the different classes a try before settling on one.
Blademaster – Strong Melee Combatant
All MMORPGs have to have a beefy, burly warrior type that specializes in close range encounters, and the Blademaster happens to fit this bill in Time Raiders.
This class is all about melee combat by jumping in the middle of groups of enemies and rending them apart with powerful sword swings. However, the Blademaster’s effectiveness in offense and defense varies wildly depending on the specialization that the player chooses, with Duelist acting as the tanky DPS option, and Guardian specializing in defense and support.
The Duelist specialization is ideal for single-target DPS through the use of powerful bleed effects, and can also reposition deftly by using their Tiger Pounce, which lets them jump to the target enemy in one quick leap. Meanwhile, the Guardian prioritizes defensive tactics and tanking by using skills that affect enemies in large AoEs, while also boosting his own defenses and boasting retaliatory tactics that damage enemies whenever the player is struck.
The Blademaster is the class of choice for beginners and newcomers to Time Raiders, as this class has the highest defenses, allowing for lots of mistakes without any major negative consequences.
Gunslinger – Ranged DPS and Utility
While the Blademaster focuses on melee combat, the Gunslinger is the exact opposite, boasting a powerful offering for dealing damage to enemies and assisting allies, from the relative safety of long distances.
The Gunslinger, true to its name, revolves around gunning enemies down from afar, with skills that can deal tons of damage in quick succession. As such, they’re mainly DPS options when it comes to their role within a group setting. However, depending on their specialization, the Gunslinger might also act more as a support DPS class, though they will always inevitably gravitate towards dealing damage.
The first Gunslinger specialization is the Sharpshooter, a powerful class that can deal insane damage to single targets, making them the class of choice for taking down bosses and other tough enemies. Moreover, the Sharpshooter also has a very handy defensive skill that lets them evade attacks for a short duration, making them quite hard to kill when used correctly. Nevertheless, they are quite fragile, so utmost care is necessary when playing this class.
The second specialization is the Technologist, which uses a variety of gadgets and tools to supplement the Gunslinger’s vast arsenal. This specialization uses their tools to both damage and cripple enemies, making them into great alternatives for weakening the enemy and keeping them under control.
Due to their fragile defenses, Gunslingers are recommended for more advanced players, at least compared to the Blademaster. However, with a bit of practice, you’ll be able to launch highly damaging attacks with the rest of them.
Sage – Magical Destruction and Support
As is the case with spellcaster classes in these types of games, the Sage specializes in dealing heavy damage in an AoE setting, which makes it into the ideal class for clearing out hordes of weaker enemies with ease. These capabilities also come alongside some CC and debuff effects, which can weaken enemies further and make them vulnerable to further damage.
There’s not much to say about the Sage, as both of their specializations are quite similar in the fact that they can deal a lot of damage in AoE, while also weakening and controlling the enemy. Nevertheless, this class, just like the Gunslinger, can be quite fragile, so care and attention are necessary for staying alive while pelting the enemy with a wide variety of spells and incantations.
With that being said, we recommend the Blademaster if you’re just getting started in Time Raiders and want an easy class that doesn’t require much in the way of skill. Later on, you could try your hand at the Gunslinger or Sage, once you get used to the rhythm of battle and how the combat system works.
