Time Raiders ‘Gunslinger’ Class - Everything You Need to Know Before Starting as a Gunslinger
So you’ve decided to download and install the new Time Raiders on PC with BlueStacks, and start your adventure with the Gunslinger. Well, first off, good choice! The Gunslinger is one of the most fun classes in the entire game, and is also one of the best for players who value both pulling off tons of damage, and also supporting their teammates by weakening the enemies with a variety of status effects. In other words, the Gunslinger is both a great DPS, and an awesome support unit.
However, while they can be quite useful and fun to play, the Gunslingers also have a bit of a learning curve, especially when compared to the Blademaster, which is the easiest class in the game, by far. Gunslingers, on the other hand, must take into consideration their positioning and defenses at all times, since they’re quite fragile and are prone to getting overwhelmed if the player is careless.
With that being said, in this guide, we’ll be giving a brief overview of the Gunslinger class in Time Raiders, and will be discussing everything you need to know before getting started with this class.
Gunslinger Play Style
This is the only ranged physical class in the game, which is in contrast to the Sage’s ranged magical powers. As such, most of its play style revolves around standing as far as possible from the enemy, and bursting them down with basic attacks and skills, most of which are fairly straightforward. However, depending on your specialization, you will definitely want to hold back and think about how best to use your skills, considering that some of these can dramatically change the flow of combat.
Gunslinger Specializations
While they are basically the same in practice, the two specializations for the Gunslinger differ slightly due to the additional effects of their skills. And while both of them are, in the end, ranged DPS classes, they have slightly different focuses each:
-
Sharpshooter
This specialization is an interesting choice since it offers as much, or perhaps even more, firepower than the base class, but while also adding an important defensive skill to the mix. Specifically, Sharpshooters can deftly dodge enemy attacks for a duration using one of their skills, allowing them to reposition, or simply to wait for the perfect moment to strike, while also avoiding taking any damage. Other than that, this specialization is all about doing tons of damage in the shortest time possible.
-
Technologist
A gadgeteer who uses a wide variety of devices to control and damage entire groups of enemies. And while the damage of this specialization is overall lower compared to the Sharpshooter, the Technologist has much more AoE potential, allowing them to quickly and easily dispatch entire groups of enemies in just a few moments.
Recommended For
Overall, the Gunslinger is a pretty easy class to play, which makes it ideal for beginners who want to DPS, but don’t want to learn the intricacies of the most complex class, the Sage. Nevertheless, their damage output is quite decent and they are quite competent in most aspects of the game.
