If you’re an avid fan of roguelike RPGs, chances are that you might have heard of Vampire Survivors. It features a bullet hell stylized gameplay wherein you choose a character and can control it’s movement to dodge and attack enemies. Unlike traditional RPGs, you do not directly press buttons and your character uses the equipped weapon to attack. The game has had multiple DLCs, each one bringing new weapons and combinations. This guide will provide players with a clarity as to which weapon combinations are the deadliest in terms of damage and efficiency. Let’s begin!

This weapon combination can appear weak at first but since both of these weapons give you AOE damage and crowd control around yourself, they can scale up quite well. After you upgrade both of them to level 6 and beyond, the damage shines exponentially. They can significantly deal damage from afar while also pushing back the monsters.

Both weapons evolve using the Wings passive item, giving the player five passive item slots to play with. If the player wants to add another weapon or is fortunate enough to receive a Candy Box, the King Bible pairs well with the Prism Lass. The Out of Bounds arcana is the only one whose meta works well with these weapons.

Blade Crossbow + Santa Javelin + Cross

Blade Crossbow

  • Base Damage: 10
  • Max Level: 8
  • Strikes at the nearest enemy
  • Fires returning projectiles

Santa Javelin

  • Base Damage: 20
  • Max Level: 8
  • Amount is affected by Duration
  • Deals area of effect damage

Cross

  • Base Damage: 20
  • Max Level: 8
  • Amount is affected by Duration
  • Deals area of effect damage

This weapon combination only requires the use of a single passive item – the Cross. Cross can be used to evolve all the weapons used in this combo. With so many projectiles constantly shooting out from the 3 weapons, it’s rare to see any monsters escape. This combo only gets better as you level up all the weapons, with the active effect getting stronger and more projectiles being launched.

Phas3r + Mille Bolle Blu + Bracelet

Phas3r

  • Base Damage: 5
  • Max Level: 8
  • Strikes at enemies anywhere on the screen
  • Ignores Speed and Duration

Mille Bolle Blu

  • Base Damage: 5
  • Max Level: 8
  • Fires lingering projectiles
  • Evolves with the Spellbinder

Bracelet

  • Base Damage: 10
  • Max Level: 6
  • Fire lingering projectiles
  • Evolves Twice to form the Tri-Bracelet

This weapon combination is often used by veterans to survive the full 30-minute mark in every stage. While they start out slow, they can quickly gain pace as you level up the core weapons. The name of the game is projectiles, and this weapon combo has enough of them. You will only require 2 passive items to use this combo – The Empty Tome and Spellbinder.

When all of these weapons have fully grown, they work together to generate damage zones at the screen’s edge. The Heart of Fire arcana complements this weapon combination well, but only a few other arcanas function with the Phas3r or Mille Bolle Blu.

Homing Miss + Magic Wand + Clock Lancet

Homing Miss

  • Base Damage: 20
  • Max Level: 8
  • Evolves with the Multistage Missiles
  • Works with the Heart of Fire

Magic Wand

  • Base Damage: 10
  • Max Level: 7
  • Freezes Enemies
  • Moves around the character clockwise

Clock Lancet

  • Base Damage: 10
  • Max Level: 8
  • Attacks The Nearest Enemy
  • The evolved form (Holy Wand) fires continuously.

This set of unique weapon combos truly make Vampire Survivors a haven for roguelike lovers. When can you expect technology and fiction to come together and give such a beautiful combo. Homing missiles literally follow the target, ensuring guaranteed hits towards unsuspecting enemies. The Magic Wand is an amazing utility weapon that can freeze enemies, regardless of their type. Clock Lancet is a great DPS weapon once it evolves into the Holy Wand. You will only require the Spirit Tome as the sole passive item to evolve both Magic Wand and Clock Lancet.

Four Seasons + Just Vent

Four Seasons

  • Base Damage: N/A
  • Max Level: 8
  • Evolves with the Mini Shapeshifter
  • Covers the floor with vent traps.

Just Vent

  • Base Damage: 5
  • Max Level: 8
  • Scales with Amount and Duration
  • Causes mid-range explosions around the character.

Just Vent is an intriguing weapon since it creates vents on the ground that attract adversaries. Four Seasons generates explosions, which typically appear at the screen’s edges. When combined, these two weapons have incredible crowd control capability. The blasts will catch enemies who are not drawn into the vents. You will want to increase the levels of Just Vent to get more area damage out of it. At higher levels, you can even expect amazing explosions that occur each second.

Sharp Tongue + Spellstring + Magic Wand

Sharp Tongue

  • Base Damage: 10
  • Max Level: 8
  • Evolves with the Mini Impostor
  • Works with the Gemini arcana.

Spellstring

  • Base Damage: 5
  • Max Level: 6
  • Ignores Area and Duration
  • Targets the closest enemy.

Magic Wand

  • Base Damage: 10
  • Max Level: 7
  • Freezes Enemies
  • Moves around the character clockwise

This specific set of weapons enjoy a unique thing in common – they attack enemies that are closest to you in a point and click manner. Unlike AOE weapons, they deal more damage but attack fewer enemies at a time. The real challenge is to get to the mid-game and after the 20 minute mark, your journey should feel much more comfortable. We would recommend using the King Bible as the 4th weapon as the massive barrier comes in handy since you need to get real close to the enemy to finish them off.

Players can enjoy playing Vampire Survivors on a bigger screen of their PC or Laptop via BlueStacks along with your keyboard and mouse.
