How to Edit Gamepad Controls

If you’ve already gone through the BlueStacks PC setup process for Wuthering Wave, you can enable gamepad controls simply by plugging in a gamepad either via USB or bluetooth, upon which you will get a prompt saying that BlueStacks has recognized your controller. 

At this point, you can start playing with gamepad, but if you want to customize your controls, then you can do so by following these steps:

1. Connect Your Gamepad: Plug your gamepad into your PC via USB or connect it via Bluetooth. BlueStacks will automatically detect your gamepad and show a prompt confirming its recognition.
2. Open the Advanced Editor: Press Ctrl + Shift + A on your keyboard to open the Advanced Editor in BlueStacks.
3. Switch to Gamepad Configuration Mode: In the Advanced Editor, click on the “Gamepad” button at the top of the BlueStacks window to start configuring your gamepad controls.
4. Map Gamepad Buttons to In-Game Actions: Click on the game action you want to control, such as moving your character, jumping, or attacking. Then, press the corresponding button on your gamepad to assign it to that action. For example, if you want the “A” button on your gamepad to make your character jump, click the jump action in the editor, then press the “A” button on your gamepad.
5. Configure Directional Controls: Hover over the D-pad icon in the editor. Click the gear icon that appears, and choose whether you want the movement to be controlled by the left thumbstick, right thumbstick, or D-pad.
6. Save Your Settings: After mapping all your controls, click the “Save” button in the lower right corner of the screen to apply your changes.
