Casual indie game Cats & Soup – Cute Cat Game by HIDEA has reached a total of 50 million downloads on both iOS and Android devices. Although the game was released on October 12, 2021, the game only reached 40 million downloads six months ago, which makes its sudden uptick of 10 million downloads impressive for an indie game. Just like with what happened in the game’s 2nd anniversary, the developers have added a special 50M Downloads Attendance Event for players to “purr-ticipate” in and celebrate the huge milestone.

To “purr-ticipate” in the special event, players will just need to log into the game to earn the following rewards: two limited-edition costumes, an event facility, observatory tickets, and gems. Cats & Soup players only have until October 27, 2023, to participate in the event and redeem the rewards. 

Aside from the special event, the developers have also celebrated the milestone by revealing a coupon code in the game’s Instagram profile. The code is THX5000CAT. Rewards can be redeemed by going to the coupon page in the game’s bio section and entering your user ID and the code. The developers did not specify what the exact rewards are other than they are “special gifts”. The coupon can be redeemed until November 30, 2023, at 23:59 (UTC+0). If you are playing Cats & Soup with BlueStacks, you can use the UTC time converter tool to translate the coupon’s expiration time to your local time zone. Keep an eye out on the game’s Instagram profile as more coupon codes will possibly be revealed when the game receives more than 100 celebratory messages.
