The new content coming with the update is none other than Sky Arena, a real-time PvP game mode where players can fight each other 1-on-1 live. 4 new heroes – 2 legendary grades and 2 epic grades are also being added to the game to diversify the game’s champion roster as well as introduce new mechanics into the game. Players will be having a higher chance of summoning the new legendary heroes while summoning as a summoning-boost event is also active in-game. Apart from the new content, several bug fixes were also done to keep the game in a smooth state. Let’s check out all the new stuff that came with the 22nd June update.
Garnet – New Dark Elemental Unit
Garnet is a Legendary rarity Dark elemental unit from the Holy Light Faction. Garnet is going to be specifically targeted towards PvP content as her passive ascension lets her self-revive upon death. She also demands to be built with lots of speed as she needs to take the first turn to use her AOE Sleep and No Positive Effect debuffs. Her damage also scales according to her Speed which is an added incentive to build her with more Speed. Her Trait Stardust states that Garnet gets 1 rage whenever any ally uses their ultimate ability or special ability after she dies on the battlefield. Garnet will instantly self-revive with 50% MAX HP and reduced ability cooldowns when she gets 3 stacks of rage. Garnet’s basic ability Meteor Slam is a single targeted damaging ability whose damage scales according to her Speed and the damage ricochets between 2 enemies, dealing damage to a total of 3 enemies.
Her special ability Curtain of Heaven is a single targeted damaging ability wherein Garnet launches 3 different hits to 3 random targeted enemies, with each hit having a chance of removing a buff or inflicting Defense down debuff for 2 turns if the target has no buffs. The damage of this ability scales with her own Speed. Garnet’s ultimate ability Astra Doomsday is an AOE targeted damaging skill that deals damage to all enemies and has a 100% chance of inflicting No Positive Effects for 2 turns plus a 50% chance of inflicting Sleep debuff for 1 turn. The damage dealt by this skill depends on the difference between the Speed of the caster and the target. We recommend building Garnet on Raider and Rebel Set with a focus on Speed, Attack%, Critical Hit Rate%, and Critical Hit Damage% as stats.
Take a look at Garnet’s skill set in detail:

Epena’s basic skill Savage Blade is a single targeted damaging ability that has a 100% chance to apply Random Stats Down for 2 turns. Sky Duel – New Content
The newest form of content available to all players who have unlocked Arena mode is the Sky Duel. Sky Duel is a live-PvP game mode where players can fight other players in real-time by picking and banning certain heroes. This content is similar to World Arena in Epic Seven and RTA (Real-Time Arena) in Summoners War: Sky Arena. Currently, the Sky Duel is in its testing stage, and hence, players can only participate in certain time slots each day. The rewards and the time slots are slated to get revamped when the developers are sure that the game mode is stable. The current version of the Sky Duel is available from 16th June 2022 and ends on 30th June 2022.
Players can refer to the actual patch notes of the update implemented on 22nd June 2022 to get a more in-depth understanding of what’s coming. Games like Awaken: Chaos Era that is grindy and needs to be played for a long duration of hours can be harmful to the small batteries of your mobile devices. Hence, we recommend playing Awaken: Chaos Era on a PC with BlueStacks using a keyboard and mouse.
