Battlegrounds Mobile India, a separate title released especially for players residing in India is seeing all the hype this week with the announcement of their update “Version 3.4”. The update and its contents can already be seen live in-game as it was released on 26th September, 2024. Players can experience a blood moon themed event along with an exclusive collaboration with Indian film star Deepika Padukone. The new update also brings out a new gun, some cosmetic skins, and a new vehicle. 

BGMI Version 3.4: Bloodmoon Awakening Mode

The highlight of the update is the Bloodmoon Awakening Mode, a new thematic experience that plunges players into a supernatural realm filled with vampires and werewolves. This mode introduces unique locations such as the Crimson Castle and Wolf Settlement. Each area alternates between day and night, with players facing different challenges and puzzles based on the time of day. You can transform into powerful beings like the Wolf Warrior or Vampiric Fiend, each with special abilities for combat. Additionally, a thrilling boss fight with Dracula offers high-risk, high-reward gameplay​.

BGMI Version 3.4: New Vehicles 

In addition to thematic elements, the 3.4 update introduces two unique vehicles:

Horse: This two-seater mount is ideal for negotiating tough terrain and crossing bodies of water. The horse can jump over obstacles and swim, allowing players to navigate silently across the area. It has a stamina meter, which may be replenished by feeding the horse apples distributed across the landscape.

Hovercraft: This four-seat amphibious vehicle can transition easily between land and water. The hovercraft, which has a protective windshield, provides a secure mode of transportation for units wishing to stay mobile while avoiding hostile fire. However, as the windshield stops players from firing while inside, tactical entry and exit spots are critical for its efficient deployment.

BGMI Version 3.4: New Weapon

For gun fans, the Dual MP7 is an amazing addition that provides an additional layer of firepower. The MP7 uses 9mm ammunition and has a fast fire rate and agility, making it suitable for close-quarters combat. This weapon can be found in specified locations or obtained via airdrops. Its dual-wielding capacity lets gamers to quickly knock down foes, especially in restricted situations such as buildings or small passageways.​

Blood Clan Treasure and Treasure Spectre

Blood Clan Treasure Clash is a new event in which players are divided into teams and each receives a Blood Clan Chest. The goal is to defend the chest and activate it to get rewards. This event encourages teamwork because players must work together to fend off invaders and secure loot. Furthermore, the Treasure Specter challenge entails uncovering Gargoyle Troves and slaying the phantom guardians that arise, providing another way for players to win valuable things.

Classic Mode Update

The update also brings new elements to Classic Mode, where players can now utilize the Self AED (Automatic External Defibrillator). This item allows knocked-down players to revive themselves, granting a significant advantage in solo or squad matches where teammates may not always be nearby to help. This mechanic adds a new strategic element to survival, as players must decide when and where to use their self-revive ability for maximum impact​

Metro Royale Chapter 22

For those who prefer the darker, narrative-driven Metro Royale mode, Chapter 22 brings additional challenges and foes such as zombies, vampires, and werewolves. This chapter adds to the existing tale by immersing players in a world where survival necessitates not only combat skills but also smart resource management.
