Halloween is over and Dislyte is back on track in its usual development for the beloved portrait-based 3D RPG. LilithGames have been quite keen on testing and releasing new forms of content apart from the usual events that they run with every update. It seems that things have taken a different turn with the latest patch. Dislyte is available to be downloaded and installed as a free-to-play title on both the Google Play Store and iOS App Store.

The latest update for Dislyte is titled Patch 3.1.5 and can be seen in the live version of the game on 15th November 2022. Dislyte is known for releasing full feature-rich updates that contain multiple new content and new espers for the currently low amount of collectible heroes in the game. Well, it seems that trend is seeing a big stop with Patch 3.1.5. For the first time in the history of Dislyte, an old esper will be seeing a re-run through its own specialized rate-up banner which players can use their Super Sound Matrixes on. Usually, these banners are reserved for new espers coming to the game but LilithGames seems to be breaking the pattern. This also opens a question of whether we will see more such re-runs of old espers in the game in the future. A new PvP-based game mode called “Battlegrounds” is also being added to the game for a limited time. New fun events such as Royal Flush and Divine Support can also be seen live after the update is implemented. A few balance adjustments will also be seen to target over-performing or under-performing espers. Let’s get right into the in-depth breakdown for Patch 3.1.5 which is scheduled to release on 15th November 2022. 

Tiye – 5-Star Esper Re-Run

Tiye is a 5-Star Flow elemental esper that is classified as a Disabler in-game. Tiye has the powers of the Goddess Nut. Tiye’s introduction reads as follows – “Tiye has a gift for fantasy abetted by the goddess Nut, who has – with justification – granted her the self-confidence befitting the “Center of the Universe”.” We recommend building Tiye with Wind Walker/ Apollo’s Bow Set with HP%/Defense%, HP%/ Accuracy%, and Speed as main stats and a focus on Speed, Accuracy%, HP%, and Defense% as sub-stats. Players will be able to acquire Tiye once more after the update goes live in-game on 15th November 2022.

Nightbringer (Active Skill) – Deals damage to an enemy equal to 110% of ATK with an 80% chance of absorbing 20% of their AP.

Lvl 2 Damage increased to 105%

Lvl 5 Trigger Chance increased to 60%

Starstruck (Active Skill) – Deals damage equal to 80% of ATK to all enemies with a(n) 60% chance of inflicting Stun for 1 turn.

Lvl 4 Damage increased to 80%

Starstruck (Ascended) (Active Skill) – Deals damage equal to 80% of ATK to all enemies and inflicts SPD Down for 2 turns with a(n) 60% chance of inflicting Stun for 1 turn.

Lvl 2 Damage increased to 75%

Lvl 3 Trigger Chance increased to 60%

Lvl 4 Damage increased to 80%

Devouring Void (Active Skill) – Deals damage equal to 105% of ATK to all enemies while redistributing 30% of the targets’ AP equally among team members.

Cooldown: 5 turns

Lvl 2 Damage increased to 95%

Lvl 3 Damage increased to 100%

Lvl 4 Damage increased to 105%

Lvl 5 Cooldown reduced by 1 turn(s)

Captain Ability (Leader Skill) – All allied Espers’ SPD increases by 25%.

Battlegrounds

Battlegrounds is the latest game mode coming to Dislyte with Patch 3.1.5. Players will get to experience thorough competitive PvP content stylized in a tournament fashion. The description of the game mode reads as follows – “In the intensity of the battlegrounds, who will emerge victorious and take the title of Apex Player?”. Here are some key takeaways mentioned regarding Battlegrounds game mode in the patch notes:

• The Battlegrounds game mode will be added to the live version of the game on 19th November 2022 and ends on 3rd December 2022. Players who are above player level 30 will be able to join and participate in this game mode.
• The hunt for the Apex player is on! Players will compete in a 16-player multiplayer game mode where matches will be held in a 1v1 format. The last player to stand till last will claim the title as the “Apex Player”.
• The Battlegrounds will be the ultimate test to a player’s capability and tact. All espers possessed by the player will have a maxed-out star rating, abilities, Level, and Ascension. Only the resonance and relics equipped to the espers remains unchanged.
• 5 helper Espers can be used by the players every week. This induces more tact to the battles and provides an advantage to the players who do not have all the espers collected.
• 2 players will be matched at random from the particular ladder and each player will then choose a formation of Espers. The matches will play by themselves in Auto mode by default.
• Players who win will be eligible to choose different runes and these runes can be used in matches thereafter. 

• Once a player loses, their ranking and rewards will be instantly calculated and given to them. The ranking and rewards will depend on the number of players remaining on the ladder.
• The rewards obtained from Battlegrounds contain Task Rewards and Glory Rewards. A higher number of Glory Rewards can be acquired if the players purchase a Battle Pass.
• The Glory tokens will expire once the current season of Battlegrounds ends.

Royal Flush Event

Here are some key takeaways mentioned regarding the Royal Flush event in the patch notes:

• The Royal Flush event will start from 22nd November 2022 and ends on 6th December 2022, lasting for just over 2 weeks. The event description reads as follows – “Acquire Magic Keys to unlock Magic Cards to get Arcana’s amazing gifts!”.

• An event currency called Magic Keys is to be collected by players, up to a maximum of 10 Magic Keys per day. Players can consume Stamina and collect these Magic Keys.
• Magic Keys will be used to play the Royal Flush event. The entire event is set up in a card format on 4 different boards – Knight Set, Joker Set, Queen Set, and King Set. Players will be required to find hidden clues required to clear the current Set and move on to the next set. Players can get additional rewards if they manage to find all rewards in a particular set.
• Keep in mind that these Magic Keys will not be awarded to players if they have cleared all the clues in every set. The unused Magic Keys will be converted into gold and given to all players through their in-game mailbox after the event ends.

Divine Support

Here are some key takeaways mentioned regarding the Divine Support event in the patch notes:

• The Divine Support starts on 15th November 2022 and lasts till 26th November 2022. Players who are above Level 10 are allowed to participate in the event. 
• This event is going to be one of the first events that support such a new format. Players will be able to support their favorite Espers through a voting system. The Esper with the highest amount of votes will be sharing their story in the next update.
• Players will also be getting a limited-edition dynamic avatar of their favourite Esper whom they supported after the end of the event.

Tiye Probability Up Event

The new changes that were made to the probability-up events are still being followed in this current iteration of the Tiye Probability-up summoning event. Here are the main takeaways from the upcoming probability-up event:

• The event banner starts on 25th October 2022 and ends on 14th November 2022. Players will be able to summon 2 different banners – The regular Gold Record banner and the Super Sound Matrices limited-time banner.
• The probability up banner will unlock in the Super Senses. In the super senses banner, players will be able to summon only using their Super Sound Matrices that are available through different game modes and redeem shops available in the game. Each spin in the Super senses costs 50 Super Sound Matrices. 
• During the event, players will have an increased chance of obtaining Tiye (Nut) if they summon a legendary Esper. The base rates to summon Legendary, Epics, and Rares stay the same. After the update, the base rate of obtaining Legendary Esper has been changed from a base 1% to a cumulative 1.5%. While the base rate of obtaining the targeted Esper has been changed to 50% if players are able to summon a legendary Esper. If players are unable to summon Tiye (Nut) as their first legendary on the Super senses banner, the next legendary will be guaranteed to be Tiye (Nut).              
• The pity to get a legendary esper in the gold record summoning banner is 100. The existing pity of players on the normal recruit banner will be carried forward during the event. If players have not managed to summon Tiye (Nut) within 199 summons, then Tiye (Nut) will be guaranteed to be summoned at the 200th summon. 
• The entire summoning event ends when the player acquires Tiye (Nut).

Adjustments and Optimizations for Different Areas of the Game

A huge number of changes are being made to the different content of the game. Here is the list of changes being made:

• The number of stages in each Story Chapter has been increased from 8 to 12. For old players, all the stages that are added will be marked automatically as cleared and the extra rewards will be sent to their mailbox.

• Adjusted the rewards obtained from Easy mode stages.
• Added a new x10 Spin feature to the Shimmer attuned summons.
• Some achievements have increased rewards now.
• The Cube Miracle will now unlock for all players at Level 6 instead of Level 9.
• At the Plaza, the daily free gift location has been changed to the upper right corner (the gift box icon) of the interface.
• The threshold of having access to multi-Battle is adjusted to Lvl 20.
• Adjusted the rewards for reaching Lvl 6 and Lvl 9 in the Trainee Milestones
• Optimized the visual performance of Infinite Miracle – Infinite Gifts.
• Optimized the Rookie Echo Reward event’s interface.

Esper Balance Changes

Like with any other patch in Dislyte, it seems empty without the usual balance adjustments regarding existing Espers. In Patch 3.1.5, the number of espers targeted for these balance adjustments is quite low but the amount of balance changes made for each esper is quite large. Li Ling (Nezha)

Lanceburner (1st Ability) – Attacks 1 enemy. Deals 130% ATK damage. 50% chance of inflicting Sear for 2 turns.

Tai Chi (2nd Ability) – Attacks 1 enemy 5 times. Each hit deals 46% ATK damage. Upon a Crit, gains 10% AP.

Tai Chi (Ascended) (2nd Ability) – Attacks 1 enemy 5 times. Each hit deals 46% ATK damage. Upon a Crit, gains 10% AP. Restores own HP equal to 50% of damage dealt.

Altar (3rd Ability) – Attacks all enemies 3 times. Each hit deals 38% ATK damage and True Damage. True Damage equals 5% of enemy max HP, up to 50% of own ATK. The 3rd hit steals 10% of the target’s AP.
