Epic Seven – June Balance Patch Includes Desert Jewel Basar, Haste, Alencia, and Many More
Balance adjustments are part of games that offer a competitive PvP scene and Epic Seven, the turn-based RPG by Smilegate, is no different. With the introduction of more and more heroes, the champion pool becomes diluted and the mechanics of new heroes begin to outshine the older heroes. This is called power creep in these genres of games and is actually quite more prevalent than you think. To compete at the highest echelons of PvP, the core game needs to be more balanced in order to achieve a satisfying victory.
Epic Seven’s competitive esports cup titled Epic Seven World Cup 2022 (E7WC 2022) is also scheduled to be held sometime this year and these balance adjustments are going to play a huge part to support the balance of the game. Players will be able to see the implemented balance changes in-game once the patch goes live on 9th June 2022.
June’s Balance Patch will include several changes in the form of Buffs, Nerfs, or Bug Fixes for the following heroes and artifacts:
- Desert Jewel Basar (5-Star Moonlight Hero)
- Haste (5-Star Covenant Hero)
- Choux (5-Star Covenant Hero)
- Alencia (5-Star Covenant Hero)
- Wanderer Silk (4-Star Moonlight Hero)
- Angelic Montomorancy (3-Star Covenant Specialty Change Hero)
- Adventurer Ras (3-Star Covenant Specialty Change Hero)
- Time Matter (5-Star Artifact)
- Snow Crystal (5-Star Artifact)
- Eternus (4-Star Artifact)

Changed from Everlasting Oasis to Desert Storm, this skill now introduces a new mechanic called Barrier Inversion where players can convert the barrier into damage dealt with enemies.
