Eversoul – New Souls Aki, Catherine and Champs Arena Added
One of the biggest releases by Korean developers KakaoGames called Eversoul has just completed 50 days of live service! Recently completing over 1 million downloads on all platforms, the IDLE RPG is likeable to a majority of the players looking for a casual anime-stylized retreat. As many Eversoul players might say, another week means another new Soul launch. The new update brought upon a new Soul called Erika! You can check out her skills and abilities in the next section below. Players can download and install Eversoul as a free-to-play game on both the Google Play Store and iOS App Store with in-game microtransactions enabled or disabled.

Aki – New Epic Soul
Aki is an Epic grade Soul that is from the Human faction. She is classified as a Warrior in-game and has great base stats. Aki will be available to be summoned from the Pick-Up Recruitment banner from 16th March 2023 till 30th March 2023.
Take a look at Aki’s skills and abilities:
Double Moonslice (1st Sub Skill): Throws her sword forward to the target with the highest ATK, dealing damage equal to 120% ATK and reducing Mana by -400 every 2 seconds for 10 seconds. If it is a critical hit attack, inflicts x2 damage.
Level 21: Damage changes to 130%.
Level 121: Damage changes to 140%. Mana reduction changes to -500, and it changes into a special debuff that cannot be canceled.
Flaming Flowers (2nd Sub Skill): Her flashy sword dance slashes away at the nearest enemy, dealing damage equal to 150% ATK and increasing her Crit Rate by 25% for 14 seconds. If it is a critical hit attack, inflicts x2 damage.
Level 41: Damage changes to 170%, Crit Rate increase changes to 30%.
Level 141: Damage changes to 190%, Crit Rate increase changes to 35%.
Secret Sword: Moonslash (Main Skill): Cuts through the enemy with lightning fast unsheathing, dealing damage equal to 210% of ATK to the enemy with the lowest HP. If it is a critical hit attack, inflicts x2 damage
Level 81: Damage changes to 230%.
Level 181: Damage changes to 250%. If this skill incapacitates the target, it will restore 25% HP and 2500 Mana.
Profundity: Crimson Blossom (Ultimate Skill): Intoxicated by the moonlight and the scent of flowers, she attacks the enemy, dealing damage equal to 250% ATK to the enemy with the lowest HP. If this skill incapacitates the target, it will restore 30% HP and 3000 Mana. If it is a critical hit attack, inflicts x2 damage.
Level 101: Damage changes to 280%.
Level 201: Damage changes to 310%, HP recovery changes to 45%, Mana recovery changes to 4500.
Clear Mirror, Still Water (Passive Skill): She blocks enemy attacks while maintaining her composure despite her burning will. Gains a special “Clear Mirror, Still Water” buff which reduces the amount of total damage received for 6 seconds by 50% if her attacks hit as critical hits. If she is hit while the “Clear Mirror, Still Water” effect is active, she will gain the “Inferno” buff effect which increases her ATK by 20% for 6 seconds.
Level 61: ATK increase for “Inferno” changes to 25%.
Level 161: ATK increase for “Inferno” changes to 30%.
Catherine – Epic Soul
Catherine is an Epic grade Soul that is from the Human faction. She is classified as a Supporter in-game and has great base stats. Catherine is available to be summoned from the Pick-Up Recruitment banner from 9th March 2023 till 23rd March 2023. Catherine’s in-game description reads as follows – “A nun of the Arkenine Cathedral, member of the Order of Sun. She takes good care of others and always talks gently. She has a soft vibe around her, so no one feels Catherine’s words are nagging. Additionally, she seems to have a heartbreaking past related to poverty…”
Take a look at Catherine’s skills and abilities:
Agnus Dei (1st Sub Skill): Spreads a blessing that protects allies from danger. Increases all allies’ DEF by 20% for 12 seconds.
Level 21: DEF increase changes to 23%.
Level 121: DEF increase changes to 26%, recovers additional 1000 Mana.
Credo (2nd Sub Skill): Prays for the safety of allies through devout prayer. Blesses the surrounding area for seconds to make allies invincible and restore their HP equal to 100% of ATK.
Level 41: Recovery changes to 115% of ATK.
Level 141: Recovery changes to 130% of ATK and Catherine becomes immune to all hindering effects during prayer.
Gloria (Main Skill): Uses holy power to grant the blessing of protection to allies. Applies a shield to nearby allies that absorbs damage equal to 12% of Catherine’s max HP for 10 seconds.
Level 81: Shield HP changes to 14% of max HP.
Level 181: Shield HP changes to 16% of max HP, recovers HP equal to 150% of ATK.
Kyrie (Ultimate Skill): Blesses all allies through fancy ceremony and prayer. Recovers HP of all allies by 150% of ATK and creates shields that absorbs damage equal to 25% of Catherine’s max HP lasting for 12 sec.
Level 101: HP recovery changes to 175%, shield HP changes to 30%.
Level 201: HP recovery changes to 200%, additionally increases physical/magic resistance by 20%.
Sanctus (Passive Skill): Catherine’s blessing protects allies in danger. When Catherine is on the battlefield, physical and magic resistance of all allies with 35% or less HP increase by 30%.
Level 61: Physical and Magic Resistance increase changes to 35%.
Level 161: Physical and Magic Resistance increase changes to 40%.
Champ Arena – New Game Mode
Champ Arena is a new game mode that will be added to Eversoul post maintenance on 16th March 2023. Players can participate in the Champ Arena up to 3 times per day. It is a PvP game mode where players fight other players. Each player creates a Defense formation that is set for the Champ Arena game mode. Players can enter the Champ Arena lobby by going to the Main Menu -> Adventure -> Arena -> Champs Arena. Here is some crucial information related to Champs Arena mentioned in the patch notes:
- Battles in Champs Arena are completely automatic with the player having no manual control over their characters.
- The results of the battle depend on whichever team wins or loses. If the timer runs out, then the team having higher overall HP% left will be declared the winner.
- Winning 2 out of the 3 battles gets you automatically the victory. Players can skip the battle altogether instead of watching them by clicking on the “Skip” button located at the top right-hand side of the battle screen.
- Players can change their Defense Formation as well by clicking on the Formation screen. Make sure to press Save before exiting to save the current defense formation.
