Legend of Mushroom is an Isekai-themed Idle RPG that follows the theme of people getting transported into an alien world as mushrooms. Grow in strength as you take upon the role of either an archer, warrior, or wizard. Gain amazing and powerful abilities to dominate your peers and gain influence in the village. The latest update features a space-themed set of events called the “Extraterrestrial Invasion” along with many in-game optimizations. Check out all the new contents added to the game on 27th September, 2024.

Extraterrestrial Invasion – New Event

The newest event starts on 4th October, 2024 and ends on 10th October, 2024, lasting for a period of 6 days in total. This limited-time event will be available only for servers that were launched before 9th October, 2024. The event description reads as follows – “In deep space, where danger lurks, Shroomies band together to keep the Mushroom Planet peaceful!” This entire event has multiple sub-events that rewards players generously based on how well they perform. Here’s a short description of all the sub-events:

• Space Rescue – This is a space-themed mini-game that follows you inside a space shuttle jetting through space in a maze-like box. Players can control the space shuttle with virtual up, down, right, and left keys. You need to avoid running into obstacles while making sure you are collecting mushrooms. Each time you secure a mushroom, your spacecraft will grow, making it harder to dodge at the same time. Secure a spot on the leaderboard to earn amazing rewards!
• Planet Defense – This event features the world boss Alien Emperor that you need to fight and defeat. Players need to acquire Flash Bombs as the event currency used to throw on the boss to lower their health. You can throw the bombs in sets of 1 or 10. This event is server-wide and the damage dealt to the boss is cumulative of all players. Each time you destroy it’s health, the level increases and players can get rewards for the completed levels.
• Defense Construction – Consider this the event battle pass that offers a set of free rewards and premium rewards. As you build up your defense, the total battle pass level also goes up, rewarding players on certain milestones. The battle pass consists of 525 levels in total. 

Rush Shop

The Rush Shop has been transformed into [Sky Rider Shop] and [Feather Shop]. In the Feather Shop, you can exchange Feather Passes for new costumes from Dreamy Encounter and Dragon Descends. Feather Passes are awarded through rank awards in event draws.

Battle Report

The PvP Battle Report sharing feature has been optimized. They can now be shared across several channels.

Game Optimizations

Since Legend of Mushroom is a live-service game with multiple servers, maintenance and optimization is crucial to keep it running smoothly. Check out all the game optimizations that were done to make the game more engaging for all players:

• Family Level 11 now requires 3 Family Treasures and Family Elders from the previous required 2. The maximum Family Level has been updated to 15 from the previous 10, and the maximum Family Member count has increased to 110 from the previous 90. This reduces the EXP requirement to hit family Lv. 10. Any surplus EXP gained earlier at the max level will be triggered when Family EXP increases following the upgrade.
• Family Brawl now supports a maximum of 60 members per lane.

Display Optimizations

Check out all the display optimizations that were done to make the game more visually appealing:

• Optimized the mining animation and accelerated manual mining
• Blocked players’ messages will not be seen in the Family Chat.
