The latest update for PUBG Mobile is on the brink of release! In fact, players can already download the beta version of “3.5 Update” to test out the new features. It seems like Tencent are going all in for the Christmas vibes with the new update releasing new winter-themed maps and cosmetic changes. The entire UI (User Interface) has been remodelled to reflect the changes. While we are not aware about the actual changes coming with the update, there’s a lot to uncover from the beta version itself. Check it out below!

PUBG Mobile 3.5 Beta Version

The latest update to PUBG Mobile introduces a winter theme to the game. Some of the updated basic enhancements include the ability to shoot live animals while driving a vehicle. Aside from that, they will be able to fix their vehicle and replace tires at gas stations. In addition, the most recent update includes a new consumable that provides players with full health and a full boost in just 10 seconds.  

The Frozen Tundra theme, which includes winter themes, is coming with the PUBG Mobile 3.5 update. The update includes a new mode, Snowy Tribe, which will be modeled on the Erangel terrain. Two sections on the specified map, Quarry and Mylta City, will be buried in snow, and there will be numerous mystery rooms and tunnels where players may easily collect rewards.

New Live Vehicles and Level 4 Gear

As we saw in the previous update, the addition of new vehicles seems to be a recurring theme. With the version 3.5 update, we are getting live animal vehicles in the form of Mammoths and Tigers. These brand-new vehicles can only be seen in a special game mode called “Snow Tribe”. Apart from bone-chilling winters and snowy winds, the core attraction of this map remains to the Frost Throne Dragon that all players get to fight as the final boss. 

If you manage to take down this boss, expect to receive generous rewards and exclusive items. Now, we are not talking about regular drops as for the first time ever, Level 4 gear is going to drop by defeating this boss. You can get massive stat boosts and durability boosts by equipping the Level 4 Helmets and Vests that will drop from this boss.

Snow Tribe Map and New Melee Weapons

The 3.5 version update for PUBG Mobile will include an interesting themed style of gameplay to commemorate the winter season and holidays. This option transforms two locales on the Erangel map, Mylta City and Quarry, into an icy wonderland. There will be numerous hidden rooms and tunnels where you can collect valuable loot. The new weapons Frostsoul spear and Frostheim Hammer are 2 melee weapons that are also being added to the game and can be collected in the Snow Tribe.

Classic Gameplay Changes

A ton of changes are to be expected with the arrival of Version 3.5 update. The core change remains to be that of shooting live animals while driving. This means that you can hunt down animals and mammoths that are seen walking across different locations. One more big change coming with the update is that of repairing your vehicles. Players will now be able to change flat tires at fuel stations in case of massive brawls resulting in vehicle breakdown. A new healing consumable item has also been introduced. Using that item, you will gain full health and boost in 10 seconds. 

Visual and Sound Enhancements

The visual and sound effects in the 3.5 Beta have been updated to reflect the new functionality. The frost castles, realistic animations such as pistol reloading and driving, and character transformations all add to a more immersive and exciting gameplay experience. However, because this is a beta release, some stages may still lack complete sound effects, which should be improved in the final edition.
