Tips to Beat Amius, the Lunar Archon
If you’re done reading the above abilities, one thing might be clear in your mind – Amius, the Lunar Archon is the strongest enemy boss to be ever added in RAID: Shadow Legends till date! No other boss comes loaded with these many mechanics and dangerous abilities. Yes, conquering him might be difficult but we have devised some personalized tips that can help you prevail over this tyrant! Let’s check them out:
- Amius has a lot of healing and counter attacking going on with his skill set, allowing him to effectively counter any damage thrown at him. Either burst him down quick enough in his base form, or timely apply the Unhealable debuffs on him so that he does not replace them with Continuous Heal buffs.
- Protection set of gear can be quite useful on your champions here as Amius, even in the base form, can deal a ton of damage. Further, make sure to have some sort of block debuff champion in your team as his 3rd ability in both the forms has a chance to Stun/Sleep your allies.
- Try to finish the fight early by brute forcing your way through his damage and heals, or things can get quite messy once he reaches his alternate form. With the ability to ignore unkillable, shields, and defense, this guy’s damage is quite literally unstoppable. He will hit like a truck, so make sure to have at least 2 healers if you’re going for the long haul fights.
- One great thing about this fight is that his passives also state Amius’s weakness. His damage is mitigated if you bring in awakened champions! Further, you can also bring in champions that can constantly debuff him.
- Do not bring too many buffers outside of Block Debuffs and increased defense, especially if you’re looking for long fights. Amius can steal your champion’s buffs and replace them with debuffs, making him extremely annoying to kill.
- Amius, in his alternate form, can revive himself back to full HP once killed. You can make use of champions like Rotos the Groom and Foli to ensure anti-revival is placed. One more thing to keep in mind when placing unique debuffs is to make use of poisons and HP Burns. Do not place them too soon or Amius will take a turn and replace them with buffs instead.
