RAID: Shadow Legends Adds New Tournaments for Scarlet Masquerade Kael Skin
Plarium has started a new way of offering their champion skins in RAID: Shadow Legends, the popular free-to-play RPG title, available on both – Google Play Store and Apple App Store. The game has recently released a ton of new champion skins for a variety of its champions that are deemed popular among the community. In today’s article, we will be discussing how players can get their hands on the newest skin for Kael, everybody’s favorite starter champion. Plarium has already hinted that this skin might be a time-limited skin which means players will not be able to get them again unless offered through a paid pack in the in-game shop.
Kael’s first and newest skin is called Scarlet Masquerade. The skin offers new animations for the beloved started champion that is recommended to choose at the beginning of the game by almost every veteran. The skin will be available in the form of skin fragments that are further going to be distributed in several tournaments. These tournaments will have leaderboards of their own and players who will rank 1st, 2nd, or 3rd will get rewarded with either the complete skin or in the form of skin fragments. Before we go into the details of the tournaments, we must say that players need to possess the Kael champion in their collection to actually use the skin. Scarlet Masquerade Kael Skin Tournaments
In this set of tournaments, players will be able to get the Scarlet Masquerade skin for Kael completely for free if they are able to rank themselves properly on the leader boards of their respective tournament groups. This event is unlike the previous similar event, where skin fragments were offered in multiple events and tournaments for the Icedrake skin of Trunda Giltmallet. Players will be competing among each other in their respective tournament groups to get their hands on the coveted Scarlet Masquerade skin.
Players will be rewarded in the tournaments as follows:
- 1st Place – If the player secures the 1st position in any of the following tournaments, he/she will be automatically guaranteed to get their hands on the Scarlet Masquerade skin. The skin can be claimed on the tournament leader boards by clicking on them.
- 2nd Place – If the player secures the 2nd position in any of the following tournaments, he/she will be granted 50 skin fragments for the Scarlet Masquerade skin. Players require 100 skin fragments to combine and form a complete skin.
- 3rd Place – If the player secures the 3rd position in any of the following tournaments, he/she will be granted 25 skin fragments for the Scarlet Masquerade skin. Players require 100 skin fragments to combine and form a complete skin.
The list of tournaments and a short guide to complete them are as follows:
-
Ice Golem Tournament (18th July – 20th July)
The Ice Golem tournament requires the players to take part in the Ice Golem dungeon. This tournament is live as we speak! Players will need to repeatedly farm the dungeon over the span of 2 days in order to get the points for the tournament. Keep in mind that players get points according to the quality and quantity of the artifacts obtained by grinding through the dungeon and not by clearing the dungeon itself. Hence, it’s recommended to farm Stage 25 of the Ice Golem dungeon to get the best quality of artifacts. One more catch exists that players will need to farm the Ice Golem dungeon only using Epic grade champions. A new fusion champion will be announced soon, hence, make your decision wisely if you want to expend all your resources in these sets of tournaments.
-
Spider Tournament (25th July – 27th July)
Spider tournament requires the players to take part in the Spider dungeon. Players need to obtain high-quality artifacts in large quantities by repeatedly farming the Spider dungeon. Again, it’s recommended to farm Stage 25 of Spider’s dungeon for the best rates of obtaining legendary artifacts. Make sure to use champions only from the Gaellen Pact faction in order to get points for the tournament. Energy should not be an issue unless you are allotted in a tough bracket of competitors.
-
Dragon Tournament (2nd August – 4th August)
Dragon tournament requires the players to take part in the Dragon dungeon. Again, the same saying stays where players should be focusing on farming Stage 25 of the Dragon dungeon in order to make the most efficient progress on the tournament leaderboard. Always remember that it does not matter how many times you have cleared the dungeon. What matters is the quality and quantity of artifacts obtained from the Dragons dungeon.
-
Fire Knight Tournament (9th August – 11th August)
Fire Knight tournament requires the players to take part in the Fire Knight dungeon. Players can get points for this tournament by repeatedly farming the Fire Knight dungeon and obtaining the different artifacts from it. The quality and quantity of these artifacts equate to the number of points obtained for the tournament by the player.
