RAID: Shadow Legends by Plarium continues to release large-scale updates to improve the game by adding new champions, new game mechanics, and re-balancing outdated champions. With patch 8.60 release, the focus has been shifted to improving the boss mechanics and champion re-balancing. Players will be able to equip a new blessing on top of receiving the ability to create gear presets for their champions. Let’s dig right in and find out all the new things added to the game with Patch 8.60.

Divinity-Harmony Blessing

Not much has been revealed about the new blessing tree called “Divinity-Harmony” except the fact that it will constitute 6 distinct blessings for players to choose from. As with any other blessing type in the game, the targeted champion needs to be awakened 1-star minimum to activate them.

Gear Presets

Gear Presets are being added to the Fitting Room, so you may save different Gear combinations and equip them with a few touches. Quickly swapping between Gear Presets is especially essential when battling the Cursed City, since different districts necessitate different strategies. This will also help you devise new strategies with your squad, enabling you to quickly make adjustments at the click of a button.

Free Gear Removal

Free Gear Removal bonus event will be launching soon with Patch 8.60. This boost allows players to remove gear and artifacts from their champions without incurring any Silver cost. Further, this boost will ensure that you can use it whenever you want, instead of being a server-wide phenomenon. Consider it working just like how an XP boost does, only that it is limited to unequipping gear and artifacts.

Boss Re-Balancing

First time in the history of RAID: Shadow Legends, bosses are being nerfed. Their stats are being lowered on top of their abilities being re-balanced to better suit the health of the game. The bosses changed are as follows:

RAID: Shadow Legends – New Blessing, Boss Changes, Champion Re-balancing, and more in Patch 8.60

Iron Twins

  • HP, DEF, RES, ACC stats are being nerfed.
  • Changed the duration of the [Ironbrand] debuffs.
  • Fires of Insanity (2nd active ability) – The enemy with the highest DEF will receive 7 turns of [Ironbrand]. The enemy with the next highest DEF will receive 6 turns of [Ironbrand], while the enemy with the next highest DEF will receive 5 turns of [Ironbrand], and so on.
  • Ruinous Swath (3rd active ability) – The enemy with the highest ATK will receive 7 turns of [Ironbrand]. The enemy with the next highest ATK will receive 6 turns of [Ironbrand], while the enemy with the next highest ATK will receive 5 turns of [Ironbrand], and so on.
  • Retaliatory Launch (Passive ability) – Whenever the Iron Twins’ HP drops below 80%, 60%, and 40%, removes all debuffs from the Iron Twins, then instantly attacks all enemies.

Al-Naemeh the Sand Devil

  • HP, DEF, RES, ACC stats are being nerfed.
  • Rest for the Wicked (Passive ability) – Now the innate damage reduction is decreased by 15% for each debuff that Al-Naemeh is currently under, instead of 10%.
  • Soul Sustenance (Passive ability) – Now, whenever Al-Naemeh attacks, destroys the MAX HP of all targets by 5% instead of 10%.
  • Dreamless Sleep (Passive ability) – The duration of the Slumber counter is 16 on Stages 1-5, 14 on Stages 6-10, 12 on Stages 11-15, 10 on Stages 16-20, and 8 on Stages 21-25.

RAID: Shadow Legends – New Blessing, Boss Changes, Champion Re-balancing, and more in Patch 8.60

Akumori the Phantom Shogun

  • HP, DEF, RES, ACC stats are being nerfed.
  • Shroud of Shogun (Passive ability) – Activates the Shade counter at the beginning of the battle. When an enemy delivers a weak hit on Akumori, the Shade counter grows by two on Stages 1-10, four on Stages 11-20, and six on Stages 21-25.

Whenever Akumori scores a critical hit, the Shade counter grows by 5. When a [Enfeeble] debuff is removed or transferred from an enemy, or when its duration is completely reduced by an enemy Champion, the Shade counter grows by two.

Akumori’s C. RATE and C. DMG are increased by 1% and 2% for each Shade counter stack, respectively. Akumori is immune to Turn Meter reductions and [Enfeeble] debuffs.

When the Shade counter reaches 20, Akumori will not be damaged by [Poison] debuffs. When the Shade counter reaches 30, Akumori will not be damaged by [HP Burn] or [Smite] debuffs. When the Shade counter reaches 40, Akumori will no longer take damage from abilities or Masteries that scale based on his MAX HP.

If the Shade counter reaches 50, Akumori’s strikes will ignore the target’s DEF completely. Also, anytime Akumori kills an enemy, all surviving adversaries take damage.

  • Purge the Shadow (3rd active ability) – Whenever an Awakened Champion uses a skill against Akumori, decrease the Shade counter. The Shade counter is decreased according to the Awakening Level of the Champion who uses a skill against Akumori.
