RAID: Shadow Legends – 6 New Champions Revealed for April Patch
Easter is here and RAID: Shadow Legends is celebrating it! Of course, the celebrations are more according to their usual style – new fusion events, and new champion releases. As the game had officially turned 4 years old the previous month, it’s one of the few turn-based RPGs on mobile to have achieved such a feat. Live-service games can be quite difficult to handle, as new events and updates are required consistently to keep the players entertained and engaged. Apart from boasting a strong player base of over 10 million players worldwide, RAID: Shadow Legends are also ranked as the #1 RPG game for 2023 in the Google Play Store. RAID: Shadow Legends can be downloaded as a free-to-play game on both the Google Play Store and iOS App Store.

The tradition of adding new champion every month is one that is showing no signs of stopping. The players love it, the game feels fresh, and the new champions increase the overall hero-collector charm. For April 2023, we can see the 6 new champions that were revealed on the test server to content creators and moderators. These champions are said to be released with the next patch, expected to drop sometime next week or end of this week itself.
Here is the brief list of the new additions in the RAID: Shadow Legends roster:
- Claidna (Legendary Void Affinity Champion from the Sylwan Watcher Faction)
- Razelvarg (Legendary Magic Affinity Champion from the Skinwalkers Faction)
- Wyrennon the Silken (Epic Spirit Affinity Champion from the Sylwan Watcher Faction)
- Delaaja (Epic Spirit Affinity Champion from the Lizardmen Faction)
- Locwain (Epic Magic Affinity Champion from the Sylwan Watcher Faction)
- Margrave Greenhawk (Rare Force Affinity Champion from the Sylwan Watcher Faction)
Claidna
Claidna is a new legendary grade Void affinity HP-based champion from the Sylwan Watchers Faction.
Here is a list of Claidna’s skills: –
Touch of Slumber (Active)
Attacks 1 enemy. Has a 50% chance of placing a [Sleep] debuff for 1 turn.
Fills this Champion’s Turn Meter by 15% if the [Sleep] debuff is placed.
Level 2: Damage +5%
Level 3: Damage +5%
Level 4: Buff/Debuff Chance +10%
Level 4: Buff/Debuff Chance +10%
Lost in the Woods (Active)
Has a 75% chance of placing a 30% [Decrease SPD] debuff and a [Leech] debuff on all enemies for 2 turns.
Also heals all allies by 20% of this Champion’s MAX HP.
Level 2: Buff/Debuff Chance +10%
Level 3: Buff/Debuff Chance +15%
Level 4: Cooldown -1
Otherworld Infusion (Active)
Places a [Block Debuffs] buff and a [Revive on Death] buff on all allies for 2 turns.

Level 3: Cooldown -1
Fey Monarch (Passive)
Has a 30% chance of completely blocking the incoming damage for the first hit of an attack. Occurs once per turn.
Level 2: Buff/Debuff Chance +15%
Level 3: Buff/Debuff Chance +15%
AURA
Increases Ally HP in Dungeons by 40%.
Razelvarg
Razelvarg is a legendary grade Magic affinity Attack type champion from the Skinwalkers Faction.

Hopping Mad (Active)
Attacks 1 enemy 3 times. Each hit will fill this Champion’s Turn Meter by 5%
Level 2: Damage +5%
Level 3: Damage +5%
Level 4: Damage +5%
Level 5: Damage +5%
Night of the Rabbit (Active)
Attacks all enemies. Has a 75% chance of placing a [Leech] debuff for 2 turns. Heals this Champion by 10% of their MAX HP for each [Leech] debuff placed by this skill.
Level 2: Damage +10%
Level 3: Buff/Debuff chance +10%
Level 4: Buff/Debuff chance +15%
Level 5: Cooldown -1
Keep Up if You Can (Active)
Attacks all enemies. Places a 30% [Increase SPD] buff and a 50% [Increase ACC] buff on all allies for 2 turns before attacking.
Level 2: Damage +5%
Level 3: Damage +5%
Level 4: Damage +10%
Level 5: Cooldown -1
Built for Speed (Passive)
Each [Increase SPD] buff placed by this Champion increases their SPD by 5 (Stacks up to 100).
AURA
Increases Ally SPD in all Battles by 20%.
Wyrennon the Silken
Wyrennon the Silken is an Epic grade Spirit affinity Support type champion from the Sylwan Watchers Faction.

Attacks 1 enemy. Has a 40% chance of placing a 50% [Decrease ATK] debuff for 2 turns.

Level 6: Damage +10%
Level 7: Buff/Debuff Chance +10%
Glide Steps [Active]
Fills the Turn Meters of all allies by 15%. Also places a 30% [Increase SPD] buff on all allies for 2 turns.

Grace of Immortals [Active]
Revives a dead ally with 50% HP and 30% Turn Meter. Also places a 15% [Continuous Heal] buff on that ally for 2 turns.

Increases Ally SPD in Faction Crypts by 20%.
Delaaja
Delaaja is an Epic grade Spirit affinity HP-type champion from the Lizardmen faction.

Attacks 1 enemy 2 times. Each hit heals this Champion by 2% of their MAX HP.
Each hit also has a 20% chance of placing a 5% [Poison] debuff for 2 turns.

Level 4: Buff/Debuff Chance +5%
Level 5: Buff/Debuff Chance +5%
Blade Dissolved [Active]
Attacks all enemies. Has a 75% chance of placing a 50% [Decrease ATK] debuff for 2 turns.

Level 4: Buff/Debuff Chance +10%
Level 5: Buff/Debuff Chance +15%
Level 6: Cooldown -1
Restorative Froth [Active]
Places a 15% [Continuous Heal] buff on all allies for 1 turn.
Also places a [Shield] buff equal to 20% of this Champion’s MAX HP on all allies for 2 turns.

Instinct (Passive)
Has a 30% chance of counterattacking when ally Lizardmen except this Champion are attacked.

Locwain is an Epic grade Magic affinity Attack type champion from the Sylwan Watchers faction.

Level 2: Damage +5%

Attacks all enemies. Has a 25% chance of removing any [Veil] or [Perfect Veil] buffs from all enemies.
Also has a 75% chance of removing 1 random buff from all enemies.

Level 4: Buff/Debuff Chance +10%

Focused Force [Active]
Attacks 1 enemy 2 times. Will ignore [Shield] buffs.
Resets the cooldown of this skill if this attack kills an enemy.

Hunt the Haughty (Passive)
Increases this Champion’s ACC by 10 for each buff on each enemy.
Margrave Greenhawk
Margrave Greenhawk is a Rare grade Force affinity HP-type champion from the Sylwan Watchers faction.

Attacks 1 enemy. Places a 7.5% [Continuous Heal] buff for 1 turn on the ally with the lowest HP.
