RAID: Shadow Legends - New Events and Tournaments for Trunda Champion Skins
Players can now get their hands on the 2 brand-new skins launching for the legendary champion Trunda Giltmallet in RAID: Shadow Legends, the turn-based RPG by Plarium. The new skins, titled Icedrake and Incinerus, respectively are going to be the 2nd addition of newly launched champion skins that RAID: Shadow Legends have recently announced. The Plarium developed and published game is available to be downloaded as a free-to-play application on both the Google Play Store and iOS App Store and has garnered over 10 million downloads combined. The game continues to release new fun events and content like the recently released Hero’s Path Event that players can participate in and get some amazing rewards. Champion Skins in RAID: Shadow Legends are completely a cosmetic choice and do not provide additional stats or power to your champion which makes it a unique and collectible asset for any account.
Out of the 2 new skins, players will be able to get the Icedrake Skin of Trunda Giltmallet for absolutely free by collecting the skin fragments of the skins which will be available through different events and tournaments. Consider them similar to the champion fragments scattered in the events and tournaments during champion fusion events. The Incinerus Skin for Trunda Giltmallet will be available exclusively through the Shop and needs to be purchased by spending real-life money. Before we go further going through the details of the events and tournaments, we must say that players need to possess the Trunda Giltmallet champion in their collection to actually use the skin. Let’s get right into the details of the event and the champion as well.
Trunda Giltmallet – Abilities and Passives
Trunda Giltmallet is a Magic affinity legendary grade champion from the Dwarves faction. Trunda Giltmallet is one of the most wanted legendary tier champions in RAID: Shadow Legend. She has a very high base Attack of 1608 and a low base Defense of 980. She possesses some of the most damage-dealing skills and hits harder than most other champions due to her high damage multipliers. She is majorly used in PvP content like the Classis Arena or Tag Team Arena along with some usage in dungeons as well. She is excellent for clearing waves of enemies due to her 2 AOE targeted damaging abilities. Her 1st skill Golden Mallet is a single targeted damaging skill that hits the target enemy 2 times, making it a double hitter. The 2nd hit has a 50% chance of inflicting a Stun debuff on the target for 1 turn. Her 2nd ability Cloak of Ages is an AOE targeted damaging skill that firstly targets a single enemy and later targets all enemies, damaging them by 60% of the damage dealt with the first enemy. This skill alone makes Trunda Giltmallet a beast in the Arena due to a good mix between single targeted skills and AOE targeted skills.
Trunda Giltmallet’s 3rd ability Forge Rhythm is an AOE targeted damaging skill that deals damage to all enemies and has a 70% chance of landing a Stun debuff on the target for 1 turn each. She further places an HP Burn debuff for 2 turns on all enemies that are under a Stun debuff or she proceeds to attack all enemies that are not under Stun debuff another time. Lastly, Trunda Giltmallet’s passive ability Swift Justice states that she gets her own Resistance Stat increased by 10 for each Stun debuff placed by her on enemy champions. This passive can be stacked across each round of the battle up to a maximum of 100 times which further makes her use in Dungeons and Doom Tower stages event better. The 2nd part of the passive states that Trunda gets 5 Speed extra per active HP Burn inflicted by her on enemy champions, stacking up to a maximum of 15 times.
Here is a list of Trunda Giltmallet’s skills: –
Golden Mallet (Active)

Cloak of Ages (Active)

Trunda Icedrake Skin Events and Tournaments
Players will be able to get the Icedrake Skin of Trunda Giltmallet by taking part in the different events and tournaments scheduled in the month of July. Players need to collect 100 skin fragments of the Icedrake skin to unlock the skin. Players will need to achieve certain milestones in these events and tournaments to get their hands on the skin fragments. The entire event will be divided into 2 different phases that start and end on different dates.
PHASE 1 – The first phase of the Icedrake Skin will begin on 1st July 2022 and ends on 7th July 2022. During the phase 1, players will be able to get skin fragments for Icedrake Skin of Trunda Giltmallet from the following events and tournaments:
- Summon Rush Event (1st July – 5th July) – 20 Icedrake Skin fragments
The Summon Rush event starts on 1st July 2022 and ends on 5th July, giving all players 4 days to complete the event. Now, the exact milestones to achieve the skin fragments are still unknown but if they are similar to champion fusion events, players can expect 2 different milestones to get the skin fragments with the 1st one being 5 skin fragments and the 2nd one offering 15 skin fragments. Due to the nature of this event, players will need to get all the skin fragments in order to fuse the Icedrake Skin for Trunda Giltmallet. Hence, if the milestones for summoning are too large for your taste or if you lack the resources in terms of Shards, feel free to entirely skip the event.
In general, Summon Rush event provides points according to the quality of the Shard being opened instead of the quality of the champion being summoned. The points given are as follows:
Mystery Shard: 1 Point
Ancient Shard: 20 Points
Void Shard: 100 Points
Sacred Shard: 500 Points
- Dungeon Divers Event (3rd July – 6th July) – 15 Icedrake Skin fragments
The Dungeon divers event rewards the players according to the quality of artifacts that are obtained from any area of the game. The most prominent areas from where players can get good artifacts are the dungeons – Fire Knight dungeon, Spider’s Dungeon, Dragons Dungeon, Ice Golem Dungeon, etc. Players can also get artifacts from clearing the Campaign stages at different difficulties. Players can expect a high point requirement if 15 skin fragments are being offered.
- Champion Training Tournament (2nd July – 5th July) – 15 Icedrake Skin fragments
The Champion Training tournament is going to be offering 15 more skin fragments for the Icedrake skin, making the total at 50 fragments. Players can get points for the Champion Training tournament by powering up champions, leveling their champions, promoting their champions, ascending the champions, etc. Players will get more points according to the star level of the champion and their level of them. For example, a 6-Star champion gaining levels will provide more points for the tournament than a 5-Star champion gaining levels. We recommend players start saving their chickens and different elemental brews in order to get some easy points.
During the 1st phase, players will also be able to get the remaining 50 fragments of the Icedrake skin directly from the shop. Apart from the Icedrake skin, the Incinerus skin is also going to be available from the Shop and players can purchase it by using real-life money.
PHASE 2 – The second phase of the Icedrake Skin will begin on 22nd July 2022 and ends on 3rd August 2022. During phase 2, players will be able to get 50 more skin fragments for Icedrake Skin of Trunda Giltmallet from the different events and tournaments that are not yet disclosed. Again, after Phase 2 will end, players will be offered to buy the remaining skin fragments from the Shop.
