Rise of Kingdoms – New Commanders Babur, Margaret and Heraclius Skills and Abilities
Rise of Kingdoms, the SRPG (Strategic Role-Playing Game) title by LilithGames combines aspects of traditional MMO and City-building aspects. The 3 New Commanders – Babur, Margaret, and Heraclius are scheduled to be added to the game as part of Update 1.0.66 Gunning for the Top. The new update can already be seen live in-game with the new commanders scheduled to be released sometime this week.

Players can already take a look at the animations of the new commanders along with their skills and abilities in their official YouTube preview video. Although, they are shown for just a mere couple of seconds, we have compiled the skills and abilities of the new commanders in a more readable format to help players decide if they want to invest their precious resources in acquiring these new commanders.
Babur – New Ranged Commander
Babur, the first commander of the newly released series of commanders is a legendary grade commander that specializes in Engineering, Versatility, and Attack. He is also classified as a Ranged Siege type commander in-game. Babur’s description reads the following – “Babur is the first Mughal emperor, founder of the dynasty that will reign from the sixteenth century to the nineteenth century on the north of India. It is his great-great-great grandson who will build the Taj Mahal. His birth name is Zahir ud-din Muhammad, BaBur being a nickname later granted and meaning “panther”. He was born on February 14, 1483.
He is a direct descendant of Tamerlane by his father. Tamerlane was a 15th century conqueror who acquired a large territory over western and eastern Asia. He was known for his ability to slaughter the inhabitants of the lands they occupied, making him one of the biggest killers the planet has ever known. Babur’s father was Omar Sheikh Mirza, king of Ferghana, a region presently in Uzbekistan.”

Victor of Panipat (Active Skill) – Deals skill damage to a target troop (Damage Factor 1). This skill can only be used in ranged mode.

The Stoneshaker (Passive Skill) – Increases the Health of this commander’s siege units by 1%. When taking damage, this commander’s siege units have a 10% chance to gain 1% increased Defense and 1% increased damage for 3 seconds. This effect can trigger once every 5 seconds.

Amir of Fergana (Expertise Skill) – Increases the Attack of this commander’s siege units by 1%. Whenever they use an active skill, their troop will gain 1 Rage per second for the next 3 seconds. This effect can trigger once every 5 seconds.
Margaret – New Egyptian Commander
Margaret, the second commander of the newly released series of commanders is a legendary grade commander that specializes in Engineering, Versatility, and Support. She is also classified as a Ranged Siege type commander in-game. Margaret’s description reads the following – “Margaret I, (born 1353, Søborg, Den.—died Oct. 28, 1412, Flensburg), regent of Denmark (from 1375), of Norway (from 1380), and of Sweden (from 1389), who, by diplomacy and war, pursued dynastic policies that led to the Kalmar Union (1397), which united Denmark, Norway, and Sweden until 1523 and Denmark and Norway until 1814.
Starting from the late 1380s, Queen Margaret I reigned over the kingdoms of Denmark, Norway, and Sweden (including Finland at the time), and later united these possessions into the Kalmar Union. She is hailed as one of the most important figures of the Middle Ages and one of Europe’s first and greatest queens regnant.”

The Kalmar Union (Expertise Skill) – Increases the Defense of this commander’s siege units by 1%. When taking damage, this commander’s troop has a 10% chance to heal itself (Healing Factor 1). This effect can trigger once every 5 seconds.
Heraclius– New Egyptian Commander
Heraclius, the third commander in the newly released series of commanders is a legendary grade commander that specializes in Leadership, Garrison, and Defense. He is also classified as a Melee Leadership type commander in-game. Heraclius’s description reads the following – “Heraclius, (born c. 575, Cappadocia—died Feb. 11, 641, Constantinople), Eastern Roman emperor (610–641) who reorganized and strengthened the imperial administration and the imperial armies but who, nevertheless, lost Syria, Palestine, Egypt, and Byzantine Mesopotamia to the Arab Muslims.
The first Byzantine Emperor of the Heraclian dynasty. In 608, alongside his father (then the Exarch of Africa), he rebelled against the tyrannical Emperor Phocas. In 610, he defeated Phocas and became the new Emperor.”

Leadership of Nineveh (Active Skill) – Deals direct damage to up to 5 nearby target troops (Damage Factor 1). Damage dealt to each target is reduced by 15% for each additional target. This skill also grants this commander’s troop a Mighty Shield for 3 seconds (Damage Factor 1).

The Eagle Banner (Expertise Skill) – This commander’s troop takes 1 % less damage from normal attacks. If this commander’s troop contains at least 3 different unit types, damage taken is reduced by an extra 1%.
