DC: Dark Legion™ is an immersive action-packed strategy game set in the expansive DC Universe, allowing players to recruit and lead iconic heroes and villains in battles against formidable threats. Developed by KingsGroup, this mobile game seamlessly blends real-time strategy with RPG elements, offering a rich gaming experience for fans and newcomers alike. In this guide, we will be delving deeper into the game’s offerings, and explaining how players can maximize their benefits by being in a league. The league system gives more than just a virtual socializing experience as you can reap benefits of many buffs and rewards. Let’s check out everything!
What is a League in DC: Dark Legion™?
A league is like a guild or a club in other similar Idle and gacha games. It is a system that allows like-minded players to bond together with each other in a structured organization. It comes complete with your introductions, player frames, player power, and more. You can communicate with your fellow league members, offer them help on their building/research endeavours, or simply go to war with them in specified game modes.
The game also runs many league-based events to encourage bonding with each other while maintaining a competitive spirit among players. The main goal of joining any league in DC: Dark Legion™ is to complete missions and get the league bonuses which we will talk about more later down the guide.
Help
The Help feature of Leagues allows players to send each other some help on other league members’ ongoing research or construction queues. Not only does this ensure you help your league members achieve their targets faster but also rewards you in a special way by providing a help chest that can be claimed from the chests section. However, we must also inform you that there is a limit as to how many times you can receive the reward. The daily cap is 30 times but you can help as much as you want!
League Chests
The league chests are the chests we were talking about in the help section. These chests come in 2 different rarities – Common and Rare chests. As the name might suggest, the common chests are less premium in nature and offer mediocre rewards. These include miniscule amounts of Alloy that can be used to upgrade buildings. The rare chests on the other hand might also offer extra stuff along with the alloy such as intel, exp, etc.
Technology
In the technology section, you will be able to find all the juicy league bonuses that we were talking about. These boosts are the main reason joining any league is helpful. It’s called the League Tech Research in official terms and offers a variety of boosts for different aspects of the game. The boosts offered by this section are available to use for all league members for an infinite duration of time. Consider them permanent additions to your own set of boosts that you can acquire from Research. Some of the boosts offered are as follows:
- Helping Hands – Help count increases to 5.
- Personnel Exchange – Help duration extends to 50 seconds.
- Research Boost – Increases your research speed-up.
- Construction Boost – Increases your construction speed-up.
- Information Sharing – League research speed-up increases.
- Knowledge Resonance – League research speed-up increases.
- Coalition Bonding – League members limit increased.
League members can increase the level of these boosts by giving donations in 2 forms – Gems or Cash. Naturally, the gem donation will give more boost but it is also a risky donation as it consumes your premium currency. The dollar donation on the other hand gives a lesser amount of boost but gives you experience anyways. For free-to-play players, the latter is recommended. Every day, you can give out 20 donations in any form.
War
In the War section, you will find the coveted game mode called “Coordinated Assault”. In this game mode, players can create an invasion for a specific boss of your choosing and invite up to 5 other players to join the assault. This assault usually takes place after a certain period of time that players can set on their whims. Keep in mind, being in an assault consumes one of your patrol ships for the entire duration.
The rewards are well worth the effort as you can get summoning cubes, alloy, intel, experience, ac/dc shards, and more. You can get more rewards depending on the quality of boss you are fighting against. You need to fulfill some basic power requirements in order to fight any boss. You can also set the rally time from – 5 minutes, 15 minutes, 30 minutes, and 60 minutes.
Store
The league store offers a host of juicy rewards that you can claim by spending your league contribution. You can get this currency whenever you donate in the technology section, help allied league members, or go to war. Some of the top rewards to get from this shop are the world anvil fragments that let you summon the best heroes in the game (Top Heroes). Keep in mind, some of the store rewards might be locked behind specific league levels. So, make sure to be part of an active league that completes missions and continues to grow their level.
Players can enjoy playing DC: Dark Legion™ on a bigger screen of their PC or Laptop via BlueStacks along with your keyboard and mouse.
