Players can enjoy authentic space exploration in this new age RTS MMO. Harboring a ton of PvE and PvP game modes, Project Entropy has a lot of underlying gameplay systems that are crucial to be understood in order to make efficient progression. In this beginner’s guide for Project Entropy, we will be explaining each of these systems along with presenting our own take on how you can maximize them for your own benefit. The guide is written in layman’s language without using too much technical jargon associated with the game to present it simply for a beginner starting their space odyssey.
Understanding the Gameplay Mechanics
Project Entropy is primarily an open-world instance-based RTS game that makes use of various strategical elements to deliver a thematic gameplay for the players. Although the combat experience itself isn’t interactive in nature due to little to no manual interference, the rest of the game is quite interactive due to the inclusion of base-building mechanics. Players can experience an authentic space odyssey voyage across time, as they set up their own base from scratch in a different planet. Construct different types of buildings and upgrade them to enhance their productivity. Players can also deploy multiple different drones to explore the vast space lands yet to be discovered.
Project Entropy also has a ton of missions to complete that offer a unique insight into what to do in the game as you progress. Naturally, these missions are also going to be quite rewarding in nature, providing you with abundant resources for your valiant efforts. One of the best ways to complete these missions is by simply tapping on them, and the game itself will take you toward the area where you can complete them. The combat is expansive and tactical in nature, where you are required to deploy the right heroes and vehicles to counter the type of enemy you will encounter. For example, melee enemies are easily vulnerable to airborne allies.
Understanding the Different Powerup Methods
Project Entropy is a hero-collector RPG as well that allows players to upgrade and enhance their collected heroes. Upon being upgraded, these heroes can add a ton of value to your formations by directly increasing the Combat Power. A higher CP will result in easier victories, as the game’s victory condition is based on power difference. Take a look at all the different processes available for players to upgrade their heroes:
- Leveling Up: Leveling up your heroes remains to be the easiest and the best way to get the maximum increase in overall power level. This is because by leveling, players can directly increase the base stats of the heroes and this amplifies the rest of their abilities. Players can use the currency called as “Hero EXP” to level up their owned heroes.
- Hero Talents: Hero Talents are going to be unlocked for each hero once you level them beyond Level 20. These talents are going to be extremely helpful in deciding which abilities you want to upgrade and add to the hero. This also enhances their power level and damage-dealing capabilities.
Understanding the Different Resources and Their Uses
Here is a complete list of all the resources available in Project Entropy as of the time of the global launch:
- Food: Food is one of the 3 primary currencies in Project Entropy. It is primarily going to be obtained via missions, explorations, and Food Depot. Food recharges over time in the Food Depot, with the pace increasing as you level up the building. Food is going to be extremely helpful in training more troops in the Mobilization Center.
- Energy: Energy is one of the 3 primary currencies in Project Entropy. It is primarily going to be obtained via missions, explorations, and Solar plants. Energy recharges over time in the Solar Plant, with the pace increasing as you level up the building. Energy is going to be extremely helpful in training more troops in the Mobilization Center, and upgrading existing buildings in the base.
- Metal: Metal is one of the 3 primary currencies in Project Entropy. It is primarily going to be obtained via missions, explorations, and Metal Refineries. Metal recharges over time in the Metal Refinery, with the pace increasing as you level up the building. Metal is going to be extremely helpful in constructing and upgrading buildings in your base.
- RR2 Robots: RR2 Robots are going to be your helping hands in Project Entropy. These robots can be sent to any area of the land, provided there are resources to excavate or buildings to upgrade. The more the merrier!
We recommend playing Project Entropy on a PC using BlueStacks with a keyboard and mouse for a 60 FPS Full HD lag-free experience on a bigger screen.
