Epic Age - Hero Tier List For Arena
Do you the most fun thing you can do when you play Epic Age on BlueStacks? It’s collecting heroes! Heroes in Epic Age come from all over the world with historical figures being used as inspirations for playable characters for players to collect and use in their kingdoms. Heroes can be politicians or military leaders, both of which can provide a huge boost to the power of your kingdom. However, most of the new players don’t exactly know which heroes are good and which are bad.
Heroes are also used to compete in the PvP arena, which players use to fight against each other without using their actual armies. It’s a fun game mode that makes use of powerful heroes. These heroes play an important role in both the military and economic sectors of the game, which we mentioned in our Economy Guide. That’s why we’ve created this Hero Tier List to give players a better idea of who to look out for.
Arena Tier List
There are many heroes in the game and each one is classified from D to S tier according to their power. Naturally, the S-tier heroes are the best units to have in the game, so you’ll mostly see those characters in this tier list. We’ll only be ranking them according to their usefulness in the PvP arena so keep that in mind when taking a look at this list.
S-Tier Heroes
S-Tier Heroes are at the top of the meta with players always using them if they are available because they bring so many advantages to their squad. These are the units that players need to get if they’re looking to be competitive in Epic Age.
-
Joan of Arc
Joan of Arc is the most powerful healer in Epic Age and provides a powerful buff to her allies with the Rescue skill card. While her leading capabilities aren’t exactly the best when it comes to being a general, she is powerful enough to place herself at the top of the list because of the value that she provides when played in the Arena.
This unit is only one of few healers in the game and it’s a must-have for players who are looking to beat the top opponents. Healing is a powerful skill that allows your squad to become more durable when fighting against even the most powerful opponents on the server. The historical figure is known for being a brave leader among her people inspired by her piety despite her status as a woman in the old days.
-
Miyamoto Musashi
Miyamoto Musashi is the next character on our list and players will be happy to know that this unit is free to get as long as you keep summoning in the game. The legendary ronin is known for being a powerful swordsman and the same is true even in his role in the game. His Niten Ichiryu ability makes it easy for this hero to deal a significant amount of damage to his opponents by triggering additional attacks by chance whenever he strikes the opponent.
Miyamoto Musashi makes for a powerful leader of the squad and choosing to make him lead infantry soldiers is a good way to cement his standing in the arena. Even though infantry soldiers are weak to cavalry troops, it’s very hard to find heroes that can lead that type in battle. This means that heroes like Miyamoto Musashi make for very good soldiers in the arena.
-
Charles Martel
Charles Martel is a powerful hero that focuses on AoE damage. While Miyamoto Musashi is the most powerful single-target hero in the game. Charles Martel provides a powerful AoE damaging ability that allows him to clear the enemy’s army fairly quickly. In addition, this skill provides a debuff that applies Dizzy to the enemy units for 1 turn. This can turn the tide of the battle quickly if the right targets are affected by this ability.
France Martel is one of many Frankish heroes of old. His most standout feature is his signature hammer, but that is merely the title that people had given him after his various strategical victories over different battles. After earning the title of sole Mayor of the Palace in Francia, his bloodline would achieve many great feats. His most notable kin would be Charlemagne the emperor.
A-Tier Heroes
A-Tier Heroes are powerful units that are used as a secondary choice for top-ranked players who are looking for a variation in strategy. While the S-Tier heroes definitely provide the most effective tactics in Epic Age, these heroes can bring something to the table as well.
-
Mark Antony
Mark Antony is a powerful debuff hero that can disarm his opponents for two turns, essentially disabling the enemy’s offensive power temporarily. This hero can serve to be a perfect counter to enemies who like to use more aggressive strategies when entering the arena. The only problem that this hero faces is that players who use Joan of Arc can delay the game enough to counter this skill.
Despite being countered by one hero, it’s still worth noting that Mark Antony is still worth taking into consideration because players who don’t have healers in their squad are heavily punished by this unit. This hero provides an easy experience for players to climb up the ladder until they reach the top 50 players in the server who probably all have Joan of Arc in their squad.
-
Cimon
Cimon is a powerful hero that works well when combined with Mark Antony or other heroes that apply debuffs or other status effects to the enemy army. His ability allows him to deal moderate damage to the entire enemy army and is increased if they are affected by a negative status effect. This hero is essentially a combo piece but can be rewarding if players have the ability to fulfill the conditions.
The biggest problem with Cimon is that he is reliant on other heroes being able to apply debuffs. Most debuffs in the game are only applied by chance and it can be difficult to meet their conditions. Luckily, his main skill is still powerful enough that it doesn’t always have to be combo’ed with other units.
