Gear Types and Slots
Each hero in King Arthur: Legends Rise can equip up to 6 items that go in different slots. As you ascend your hero, the slots will further increase to 9 with the addition of Ascension items. Each type of gear plays an important part in shaping the way your hero is supposed to be built. Players can get additional stats from all the equipment in all the slots. The slots are as follows:
-
- Helmet – Provides flat Attack as the main property.
- Chests – Provides flat Defense as the main property.
- Boots – Provides flat HP as the main property.
- Necklace (Accessories) – Attack, Defense, and HP numbers can be flat or percentage-based. You may also find Effect Accuracy or Effect Resistance here, which are extremely handy when building supports or tanks.
- Earrings (Accessories) – Great for increasing Crit Rate, Crit Damage, and Attack stats. These are essential for having your damage dealers strike harder.
- Rings (Accessories) – Rings are ideal for improving Attack Speed, which controls how quickly your characters take turns. This can be critical in more intense confrontations where speed counts.
- Belt (Ascension Locked)
- Orb (Ascension Locked)
- Banner (Ascension Locked)
Each piece of gear comes with a base rarity, fixed main stat, and variable sub-stats. The rarities of the gear piece determine how many substats it will have in the base form. For example, Legendary gear has 4 substats from the start.
Learn about the Different Gear Sets
One of the more important aspects of gearing in the game remains to be customizing what gear sets your heroes are equipped with. You might get an amazing piece of gear from farming or the market, but if it does not complete your set effect, then it’s properties will be useless. Players can impart special gear sets on their heroes to command their effects in battles. Gear sets come in 2-piece and 4-piece variations. A 2-piece set activated when you have 2 pieces of the same gear set equipped on the hero. A 4-piece set activated when you have 4 pieces of the same gear set equipped on the hero. There are multiple crucial sets in the game that impart different buffs to the hero, such as:
- Attack/Defense/Life Sets – All of these gear sets are amazing 2-piece sets that offer additional attack, defense, and HP to your heroes when equipped.
- Critical Hit Rate and Critical Hit Damage Sets – These sets are required for characters who need to deal a lot of damage, helping them by increasing their Crit Rate and Crit Damage.
- Speed Set – Helps your heroes take turns faster, which can make a major difference in confrontations where getting the first hit is important.
- Vigor Set – One of the most powerful sets right now, granting your heroes additional turns to activate their skills. However, it is quite uncommon and demands a lot of resources to craft.
- Fortitude Set: Ideal for tanks because it provides a heal when your hero’s HP is low.
- Strife Set: Ideal for damage dealers because it increases attack power throughout the conflict.
- Unity Set: Enhances heroes of the same element, which is useful if you’re leading a squad of characters of the same type.
Substats and their Importance in Gearing
One of the more important aspects of gearing your heroes the right way are the substats on your gear pieces. You should be having suitable sub-stats that complement your heroes playstyle and aptitude. For example, having HP substats on Damage dealers will provide them no use as it will not help them deal more damage. Here are our following recommendations for all roles:
- Damage Dealers (DPS) – Aim for Crit Rate, Crit Damage, and Attack%. These stats will allow your heroes to hit harder and complete fights more quickly.
- Supports and Healers – Aim on HP%, Effect Accuracy, and Recovery. This increases their healing output and the likelihood of receiving debuffs.
- Tanks – Prioritize defense, HP, and effect resistance. This will let them absorb damage and defend your squad.
