New 6-Star and 5-Star operators can be seen coming to Arknights with the brand-new update on March 2023. Arknights is available to be downloaded and installed as a free-to-play game on both the Google Play Store and iOS App Store with in-game microtransactions enabled.

The new headhunting banners features 4 new operators – Phantom, Rosa, Swire, Waai Fu, and Kazemaru. Ahead of the update, the new operators are some of the top tier units that were heavily requested by the players for a re-run. Players will be able to recruit them via the headhunting banner. Let’s take a look at the skills and abilities of the operators being added to Arknights.

Phantom – Specialist

Phantom is a 6-Star operator that is classified as a Specialist type in-game. She has a base Attack of 215, HP of 769, and a Defense of 144. His base Attack, Defense, and HP are comparatively balanced compared to other operators.

Phantom is a melee damage dealer that deals physical damage with his basic attack. His description reads the following – “Lucian the Victorian Feline hails from the former Gallic territory of Calais-Blason. Following the destruction of his hometown by a disastrous flood, he and other orphans including Shalem were taken in by the passing Crimson Troupe to be trained to be its members. His inborn talent and quick mastery of acting made him a favored student, with the enigmatic Troupe Master personally tutoring him to become the Troupe’s “Solitaire.” Throughout his training, he also had at least three other teachers who influenced his life alongside the Leader: “Shadow,” who taught him darkness-related Originium Arts: “Whiteflower,” who taught him dance and social skills, and “Bladedance,” who taught him his combat prowess with twin blades.”

Phantom of the Night: Passive: Upon deployment, gains 20% Physical Dodge and a shield that can absorb Physical damage equal to 20% Max HP for 10 seconds

Bloody Opus: Passive: Upon deployment, immediately gains 7 charges of a stacking +10% ATK buff (each attack consumes one charge)

Night Raid – Passive: Upon deployment, immediately deals 180% ATK as Physical damage to all nearby enemies, pushes them back slightly, and randomly inflicts one of the following statuses to all targets hit (Slow, Bind, or Stun) for 2 seconds

Phantom in the Mirror (1st Talent): Can summon a clone with the same abilities as Phantom, but has its own redeployment time.

Phantom Mastery (2nd Talent): Redeployment time of clone is reduced by 10 seconds

Here are Phantom’s base skills in detail –

Specialist Expert Alpha – When this Operator is assigned to be the Trainer in the Training Room, Specialist Operators’ Specialization training speed +30%

Masked Phantom – When this Operator is assigned to be the Trainer in the Training Room, Specialist Operators’ Specialization training speed +60%

Rosa – Sniper

Rosa is a 6-Star operator that is classified as a Sniper type in-game. She has a base Attack of 492, HP of 800, and a Defense of 60. Rosa has average HP and Attack compared to other Snipers of similar rarity. Rosa is a ranged damage dealer that deals physical damage with her basic attacks. Her description reads the following – “Prior to the Chernobog incident, Rosa attended a middle school in Chernobog City and served as the student council president.

She joined Rhodes Island after the incident, and developed a very good reputation while working for the Logistics Department. She has now applied to be transferred to the front lines as a sniper operator.”

Attack Up Y (Passive Ability): ATK +30%

Split Shot: ATK +30%, and attacks hit one additional enemy

Avalanche Breaker – ATK +10%. Immediately fires harpoons at the 3 heaviest enemies within range, Bind them and attacking them once every second for the duration of this skill

Bone Piercer (1st Talent) – When attacking a heavy enemy, ignores 40% of its DEF (enemies with 3 weight or higher count for this effect)

Ideal Student (2nd Talent) – When this unit is in the squad, all [Ursus Student Self-Governing Group] Operators gain +8% ATK

Here are Rosa’s base skills in detail –

Student Council President – When this Operator is assigned to the Control Center, each Operator from Ursus Student Self-Governing Group increases the Morale of all Operators in the Control Center by +0.05 per hour

Prestige – When this Operator is assigned to the HR Office, increases HR contacting speed by +20%, and for every 1 contacts made, increases the likelihood of obtaining Ursus Student Self-Governing Group clues (working time and recruitment slots improves the likelihood)

Swire – Guard

Swire is a 5-Star operator that is classified as a Guard type in-game. She has a base Attack of 289, HP of 774, and a Defense of 193. Swire is a melee damage absorber that deals physical damage with her basic skills. Her description reads the following – “From the outside, Beatrix Schwire might be a Feline socialite who comes from a high-profile conglomerate family known for their business ventures in both Lungmen and Victoria. But nobody would have expected that the filthy rich lady is actually serving as a Lungmen Guard Department operative. In fact, her motivation was because the heroic L.G.D. once saved her from a kidnap! While she often works together with Ch’en and Hoshiguma under the codename “Swire,” she also holds grudges against her Lung senior because she could not withstand her harsh attitude.

Nevertheless, Swire proves herself to be a competent combatant utilizing a spiked flail and operating a remote-controlled broadcast drone from afar. Especially now as the current Superintendent of the L.G.D., the “Missy” will bravely lead her forces to tackle down any wanted crimials.”

Command and Dispatch – The effect range of this unit’s first Talent expands and the effect increases to 2 times

Cooperative Combat – ATK +30% and the effect of this unit’s first Talent increases to 2.1 times

Melee Combat Guidance (1st Talent) – ATK of Melee allies in the 8 surrounding tiles +3% when Swire is deployed

Keeping Pace (2nd Talent) – When there are Melee allies in the 8 surrounding tiles, recover 1 SP every 4 seconds

Princess – When this Operator is assigned to the Control Center, all Trading Posts’ order efficiency +7% (only the most effective one will take effect when assigned Operators have the same skill effect)

Drillmaster – When this Operator is assigned to be the Trainer in the Training Room, Operators’ Specialization training speed +25%

Waai Fu – Specialist

Waai Fu is a 5-Star operator that is classified as a Specialist type in-game. She has a base Attack of 207, an HP of 680, and a Defense of 137. Waai Fu is a melee damage dealer that deals physical damage to enemies with her basic skill. Her description reads the following – “Waai Fu is a university student from Lungmen, serving Rhodes Island from the first batch of employees hired under a secret Lungmen-Rhodes Island commercial agreement. On the recommendation of a certain firm, she took a battery of tests that showed scores wildly inconsistent with her stated identity. She clearly has substantial combat experience. Several investigations are ongoing.”

One-Inch Punch: After deployment, ATK +25%, and the ATK of the target attacked by Waai Fu -20% for 2 seconds

Seven-styles Kick: After deployment, immediately deals 180% ATK as physical damage to surrounding enemies and silences their special abilities for 5 seconds

Red Browed Wing Chun (1st Talent skill) – When attacking, has a 20% chance to increase ATK to 125% and slightly knock the target back. The Force Level of the Shift is -1 (Very Weak)

Ridding Evil (2nd Talent skill) – Increases Physical damage dealt to [Infected Creatures] by 7%

Team Spirit – When this Operator is assigned to a Factory, any effects that increase the Morale consumption of any Operators in that Factory are ignored

Cooperative Will – When this Operator is assigned to a Factory, provides an additional 5% productivity for every 5% productivity provided by all other Operators assigned to that Factory (excluding the additional productivity affected by facility count), up to a maximum of 40% productivity.

Kazemaru – Specialist

Kazemaru is a 5-Star operator that is classified as a Specialist type in-game. She has a base Attack of 207, an HP of 680, and a Defense of 137. Waai Fu is a melee damage dealer that deals physical damage to enemies with her basic skill. Her description reads the following – “The Higashian Feline codenamed “Kazemaru” was previously a kunoichi working as a mailwoman. However, since the ascension of the new clan chief, Kazemaru held conflicts with him on various issues such as dull practices and different business target. Luckily, under the company’s arrangement, Kazemaru was recommended to work in Rhodes Island as its intelligence officer. Using her infiltration skill, she is able to gain intel in Victoria for R.I. by disguising herself as an official in the southern city of Caladon under the name Kite the Recorder. When necessary, she will use her kaminingyo that could replicate herself to fend off her enemies or lure them away.”

Origami – Swift Strike: Increases the ATK of the next attack to 200%, and sacrifices 10% of this unit’s HP

Origami – Twin Shadows: Immediately sacrifices 50% of this unit’s current HP, gaining +50% ATK and summoning a on a surrounding melee tile to assist in combat

From Paper Comes Life (1st Talent skill) – When is summoned, it will deal 150% of its ATK as Arts Damage to enemies in the surrounding 8 tiles

Fading into Shadow – When this Operator is assigned to the Reception Room, Clue search speed increases by 15%

Proficient Artistry – When this Operator is assigned to the Reception Room, if no other Operators are working in the Reception Room, increases Clue search speed by 35%
