Epic Seven, the anime-stylized turn-based RPG by Smilegate has just released their content update for April 2024. The rumoured collaboration with Overlord IP has been confirmed along with some juicy new champion launches. New exclusive equipment and events are also live! Let’s check all the new content that was added to Epic Seven with the 11th April 2024 update. 

Sea Phantom Politis – New Dark Elemental 5-Star Unit

Sea Phantom Politis is a natural 5-Star Dark elemental hero that is classified as a Ranger in-game. Sea Phantom Politis was released on 11th April 2024. Players can recruit Sea Phantom Politis through her own mystical summoning banner where she is guaranteed to be summoned after 200 summons are made. 

Her hero description reads the following – “In the grand banquet hall of the SS Paradia, a luxury cruise ship that disappeared amidst a violent storm, a nightly ball is held for the lifeless passengers. Amidst the endless waltzing, the ghosts dance with expressions that resemble both laughter and weeping. Surrounded by these phantoms, Sea Phantom Politis quietly awaits the arrival of more passengers.” 

Sea Phantom Politis’s skills are as follows: –

Graceful Gesture – Attacks the enemy with phantoms, dispelling one buff. When the caster is enraged, triggers a Dual Attack from the ally with the highest attack.

+1: + 5% damage dealt

+2: + 5% damage dealt

+3: + 5% damage dealt

+4: + 5% damage dealt

+5: + 5% damage dealt

+6: + 5% damage dealt

+7: + 10% damage dealt

Phantom’s Waltz (Passive Ability) – Decreases the amount of resources gained by the enemy by 50%. At the start of battle and at the end of the turn, has a 60% chance to grant stealth for 1 turn.

+1: + 5% effect chance

+2: + 5% effect chance

+3: + 5% effect chance

+4: + 5% effect chance

+5: + 5% effect chance

+6: + 5% effect chance

+7: + 10% effect chance

Fanatic Ball – Hosts a ball, making all allies enraged for 2 turns. Dispels 2 buffs from all enemies and decreases Speed for 2 turns, before decreasing Combat Readiness by 20%.

Soulburn effect (-20 Souls): Ignores effect resistance.

+1: – 1 turn cooldown

2 New Exclusive Equipment

With the new update, the 2 heroes who will be getting their exclusive equipment are – Taeyou and Aria. Here are the new exclusive equipment and their skills: –

• Crown of Pyrokinesis (Attack 7% – 14%) (5-Star Hero Taeyou)

• Full Moon Slash – Increases Full Moon Slash’s combat readiness increase effect by 5%.
• Azure Waves of the Ocean – Increases combat readiness of the caster by 15% after an enemy uses a non-attack skill.
• Tornado Sweep – Increases skill cooldowns of all enemies except the target with the highest attack by 1 turn when using Tornado Sweep.

• Prophet’s Shawl (Effect Resistance 8%-16%) (5-Star Hero Tempest Aria)

• Shadow Call – Increases damage dealt by Shadow Call by 10%.
• Guide of Darkness – Increases damage dealt by Dark Shadow Phantom by 10%.
• Guide of Darkness – At the start of a battle, gains 1 Focus.

Arky’s Special Operations

Arky’s Special Operations is a brand-new event that will reward you generously for completing a certain set of missions. Arky will be guiding you on this journey, enabling you to complete them swiftly. This event is live as we write, as it was implemented on 11th April, 2024. On a daily basis, 5 distinct missions will be provided to players in this event. Each mission hails a separate reward. Upon successful completion, they will add to your overall mission progress. Depending on how many missions you complete, you will be rewarded additionally. Here are the new rewards: –

• 10 Missions completed – Gold x 500,000
• 30 Missions completed – Level 85 Epic Weapon (Speed) x 1
• 50 Missions completed – Level 85 Epic Helmet (Speed) x 1
• 70 Missions completed – Level 85 Epic Armor (Speed) x 1
• 100 Missions completed – Potion of Ascension x 1
• 120 Missions completed – Covenant Bookmark x 10
