RAID: Shadow Legends – Walking Tomb Dreng Fragment Fusion Event Guide
New fragment fusion events are just the entertainment that every player in RAID: Shadow Legends was itching for in the month of July 2022. The Plarium developed and published game has a history of introducing new legendary champions through this type of fusion event where players can collect different fragments of the champions by participating in multiple events and tournaments. This is one of the best methods as all players hold a potential chance to get a legendary grade champion for completely free, provided that they have ample resources to obtain all champion fragments. These champion fusion events are held at regular intervals of 1 month with the last fusion champion being Helicath. This time, the fragment fusion event for Walking Tomb Dreng started on 7th July 2022 and will continue till 22nd July 2022, offering a total of 155 champion fragments.
Walking Tomb Dreng is a new legendary grade Spirit affinity champion from the Knights Revenant faction. He is listed in-game as an HP-based champion which means his abilities’ damage and damage scaling increase with the more HP possesses. Walking Tomb Dreng is slated to be one of the best legendary grade champions for the year 2022 just like Helicath was. Although, we must say that Walking Tomb Dreng’s skills and abilities are exceptionally strong for PvE content like the Demon Clan Boss, different dungeons, and the Doom Tower. This is due to his ability to inflict HP Burns and activate all HP Burns that are present on the target he is attacking with a simple 1st ability. One of the first champions to do so, it reminds us of the Epic champion Venomage that can activate 2 Poison debuffs with her 1st ability. We highly recommend going for the Walking Tomb Dreng fusion if you have the resources to complete it.
During this Fusion event, Plarium provides Fragments for the champion in multiple Events and Tournaments. Keep in mind that these events and tournaments will take a lot of your time if you’re going to manually play the game since Plarium only provides 30 instances of Auto-Battles per day. But don’t worry, you can easily bypass the hard grinding by simply using the BlueStacks macro recorder to record your runs and keep re-running it.
Walking Tomb Dreng Skills and Abilities
Walking Tomb Dreng is an HP-based Support/Debuff type champion from the Knights Revenant faction. His grade is legendary and his base stats are living up to the expectations of a legendary grade champion. His base HP is 23,140 which is extremely high among other similar champions.
Ever since Ninja, the collaborative champion between the streamer Ninja and Plarium was given for free to all players, the standard of HP Burns was changed as people realized how much damage they can dish out to the Clan Boss with HP Burns. Players were not able to get Ninja yearned for similar champions and Walking Tomb Dreng might very well fill that void with his AOE targeted HP Burn ability that cannot be resisted! It means it has a 100% chance to be inflicted on enemies unless they are under a Block Debuff buff. Players can pair Walking Tomb Dreng with Ninja to deal some huge damage to high-level content in different PvE game modes. His 3rd ability is also a great skill to keep your allies alive and topped up. We recommend players to build Walking Tomb Dreng with Immortal, Savage, Speed, Reflection, and Regeneration artifact sets with a focus on Speed, HP%, Critical Hit Rate%, and Critical Hit Damage%.
Here is a list of Walking Tomb Dreng’s skills in detail: –
Corpsefire (Active)
Attacks 1 enemy 2 times. Instantly activates any [HP Burn] debuffs on the target after attacking.
Exalted Pyre (Active)
Attacks all enemies. Has a 75% chance of placing an [HP Burn] debuff on all enemies for 2 turns. This debuff cannot be resisted.
Death’s Balance (Active)
Equalizes the HP of all allies, then attacks 1 enemy. The HP levels of all allies will be brought up to the level of the ally with the highest HP.
The attack will ignore 30% of the target’s DEF if the target’s current HP is equal to or lower than this champion’s current HP.
Will decrease the cooldown of the Exalted Pyre skill by 1 turn if the target’s current HP is higher than this Champion’s current HP.
Fortress (Passive)
Reflects 30% of the damage this Champion receives back to the attacker if this Champion has 50% HP or more. Deals 30% more damage instead if this Champion has less than 50% HP.
AURA
Increases Ally HP in all Battles by 30%.
Walking Tomb Dreng Fusion Event Guide
Walking Tomb Dreng can be obtained by participating in the Fragment Fusion event hosted by Plarium which started on 7th July 2022. By Fragment fusions, we mean that Walking Tomb Dreng needs 100 of his champion fragments to be fused. These fragments can be found in various Events and Tournaments and can be achieved in reaching certain milestones in them. Pretty simple, right? It is simple; however, we will give a detailed guide on how to manage your resources to obtain enough fragments to fuse Walking Tomb Dreng
We will now list the various events and tournaments through which you will be able to obtain these champion fragments.

Preparation for these Events and Tournaments
As we can see from the timings of these Events and Tournaments presented by Plarium, many of these coincide with each other. If you are confused by what some of the terms mean or where some of the locations of the dungeons and events are, here is a helpful guide. Now doing every event and tournament 1 by 1 will drain your resources very quickly, and you will be left with insufficient fragments to fuse Walking Tomb Dreng. You might need to spend gems to refill energy for completing the remaining events and tournaments.
This is where efficient planning and using resources judiciously comes in. In this guide, we will give you all the essential tips and tricks to help you in your journey of fusing the legendary champion Walking Tomb Dreng. Energy and Silver will be your 2 biggest resources, and if you have enough of these saved up, things will go more smoothly for you. But if you don’t have them stored don’t fret, we are here for you! Take a look at our preparation process for Walking Tomb Dreng Fusion here: –
7th July – 22nd July:
- Dragon Tournament: 5 Walking Tomb Dreng Fragments (Obtained at 2250 Points)
- Champion Training Event Part 1: 15 Walking Tomb Dreng Fragments (Obtained at 3000 /6500 Points each)
Dragon tournament is very easy to complete and one of the 4 dungeon-related tournaments that we will see in this fragment fusion event. During this tournament, the player will need to farm the Dragon dungeon repeatedly in order to earn artifacts as rewards from the dungeon. Players will be rewarded with tournament points according to the quality of the artifacts that are obtained during farming. To complete the threshold of 2250 points for the milestone, players need to complete 200 runs of Stage 20 of the dragon’s dungeon which will cost you around 2250 energy on average. We highly recommend waiting a day for the Dungeon Divers event to start as you can easily get points for both the event as well as the tournament just by farming the Dragon dungeon.
Champion Training event is all about empowering your collected champions in the Tavern area of the game. During the champion training event, players will be able to obtain points for the event by leveling up their champions in the tavern, promoting their champions to higher ranks in the tavern, and ascending their champions in the tavern. To complete this feat, players will need to have ample storage of different elemental brews, different ranked chickens, and multiple affinity potions. If players were careless and did not save up these resources, they can look to farm them in the campaign stages by auto-repeating the stages to gain champion levels. We always recommend focusing on leveling up champions due to their nature of giving ample points and being relatively easy to do.
- Champion Chase Tournament: 15 Walking Tomb Dreng Fragments (Obtained at 750/ 2500 Points each)
Champion Chase tournaments are very different from Summon Rush events. Champion Chase tournaments demand that players summon high rarity champions to get more points for the tournament. Here is the point breakdown for the various rarities of champions that are summoned:
- Common/Uncommon Champion – 1 Point per summon
- Rare Champion – 10 Points per summon
- Epic Champion – 250 Points per summon
- Legendary Champion – 500 Points per summon
- Void Affinity Rare Champion – 50 Points per summon
- Void Affinity Epic Champion – 350 Points per summon
- Void Affinity Legendary Champion – 650 Points per summon
Keep in mind that the points can also account for champions you obtain from daily rewards, fragment summons, Shop, etc. Hence, if you feel like you have enough fragment summons or are near your pity in the mercy system for Shards then feel free to go and summon to obtain at least the first 5 fragments reward.
- Classic Arena Takedown Tournament Part 1: 5 Walking Tomb Dreng Fragments (Obtained at 390 Points)
The Classic Arena Takedown tournament is going to be the first iteration of these types of tournaments. These tournaments are all about competing in the Classic Arena game mode and players are rewarded in points for the tournament by winning matches against other players. Keep in mind that players only gain points for wins in Offense but not wins in Defense. Players can make use of the daily arena tokens as well as the daily refresh obtained from completing daily missions. The threshold is only 390 points which is easy to complete given the 3 days’ time.
- Dungeon Divers Event Part 1: 5 Walking Tomb Dreng Fragments (Obtained at 2850 Points)
- Artifact Enhancement Event Part 1: 5 Walking Tomb Dreng Fragments (Obtained at X Points)
The Dungeon Divers Event is going to be extremely important as many players might have waited for 2 days to complete the Dragons tournament just when the Dungeon Divers event started. This is due to the symbiotic nature of the dungeon-related tournaments and Dungeon Divers event. Players can get double the points for both the event and tournament by just farming the dungeon-related tournament. For example, in this case, players can auto-repeat farm the Dragons dungeon many times to get points for both the Dragons tournament and Dungeon Divers Event Part 1.
Artifact Enhancement Event is very straightforward but can drain a lot of your silver reserves. If you were not prepared, then you might have to spend your precious energy to farm silver coins for upgrading your equipment. Here are a few tips to achieve those 2625 points: –
- You can pre-roll your artifacts till Lvl 7/11/15 and then simply spend silver to upgrade to the next level as you get points only after upgrading artifacts to LVL 4,8,12 and 16 with the highest points being given at 6-star LVL 16 artifact upgrades.
- You can level up 3 6-Star artifacts to level 16 to easily complete this event in a go
- Save up to roughly 6 million silver per artifact enhancement event, as this amount is roughly what it takes to complete these events.
However, if you have enough silver or artifacts upgraded to a certain level, then feel free to use them to complete this event. It also takes a lot of time because the general upgrading speed for artifacts is very slow, and it fails many times as well. However, if you use BlueStacks Eco mode, you can significantly speed up this process and save so much time!
- Ice Golem Tournament: 5 Walking Tomb Dreng Fragments (Obtained at X Points)
- Champion Training Tournament: 10 Walking Tomb Dreng Fragments (Obtained at X Points)
Ice Golem tournament demands the players to farm the Ice Golem dungeon repeatedly using their energy. Players will earn points for the tournament according to the quality and quantity of artifacts obtained from the Ice Golem dungeon. To get the points threshold of 2250 points, we recommend players to farm Stage 20 of the Ice Golem dungeon 200 times, costing around 2250 energy. Players can start farming the Ice Golem dungeon immediately since the Dungeon divers event will be active around the time as well.
Champion Training tournament is exactly the same as the Champion training event but in a tournament format. These are all about leveling up your champions, promoting the ranks of your champions, and ascending your champions. As we said before, some basic tips for champion training events/tournaments are as follows:
- Always remember to level up your chickens before using them to promote your champions.
- Do not waste brews to level up champions who are already at a high level as the efficiency of brews decreases drastically if used on high-level champions.
- Use Mystery shards to generate more fodder if you are out of low-rank champions.
- Dungeon Divers Event Part 2: 5 Walking Tomb Dreng Fragments (Obtained at X Points)
- Fire Knight Tournament: 5 Walking Tomb Dreng Fragments (Obtained at X Points)
Dungeon Divers Event Part 2 is the 2nd iteration of this type of event where players get points for the tournament by obtaining artifacts and accessories from any part of the game. Hence, the best way is to participate in a dungeon-related tournament that is ongoing to get points for both the event and tournament. Players can repeatedly farm the Fire Knight dungeon which starts 2 days later than this event.
Fire Knight tournament demands the players to farm the Fire Knight dungeon repeatedly using their energy. Players will earn points for the tournament according to the quality and quantity of artifacts obtained from the Fire Knight dungeon. To get the points threshold of 2250 points, we recommend players to farm Stage 20 of the Fire Knight dungeon 200 times, costing around 2250 energy. Players can start farming the Fire Knight dungeon immediately since the Dungeon divers event will be active around the time as well.
- Summon Rush Event: 20 Walking Tomb Dreng Fragments (Obtained at X/X Points)
Summon Rush event is very straightforward, the more you summon the more points you get. The quality of shards also hampers the number of points you get. The quality of champions, however, does not affect the number of points obtained in this event. Here are the points received depending on the shard: –
Mystery Shard: 1 Point
Ancient Shard: 20 Points
Void Shard: 100 Points
Sacred Shard: 500 Points
We recommend going for at least the first milestone for 5 Walking Tomb Dreng fragments because the total number of fragments available is 115 excluding the ones available from tournament leader boards. It is highly debated that a special 10X targeted champion summoning event will be live around the time so if any of the champions offered to excite you, go ahead and summon to get to the 2nd milestone as well.
- Artifact Enhancement Event Part 2: 5 Walking Tomb Dreng Fragments (Obtained at X Points)
Artifact Enhancement Event part 2 is the 2nd iteration of these silver-sucking events where all they demand are your Silver resources. By this time, you must have collected a lot of Silver due to farming multiple dungeon-related tournaments and events. Players can sell their unwanted artifacts and accessories to gain even more silver resources which can be further used to upgrade the useful artifacts and accessories to get points for the Artifact Enhancement event.
- Classic Arena Takedown Tournament Part 2: 5 Walking Tomb Dreng Fragments (Obtained at X Points)
The Classic Arena Takedown tournament demands victories in the Classic Arena game mode. The higher the tier/rank of the player, the higher the number of points achieved by them per victory in the Classic Arena. Do not worry if you are in a lower tier of Arena as the milestone of the tournament will be adjusted accordingly.
- Spider Tournament: 5 Walking Tomb Dreng Fragments (Obtained at X Points)
- Dungeon Divers Event Part 3: 5 Walking Tomb Dreng Fragments (Obtained at X Points)
Finally, the last 2 events and tournament are none other than our favorite dungeon-related combo of event and tournament. Players can get points for both the event and tournament by simply participating in the Spiders dungeon. The player can farm Stage 20 of the Spiders dungeon repeatedly for over 200 runs which will cost the player around 2250 points. Remainder points for the dungeon divers event part 3 can be farmed in the campaign mode or any other dungeon.
These are the last events and tournaments to complete the fusion event and players can further fuse Walking Tomb Dreng by going to the summon screen -> Champion Fragments.
We wish all players are successful in completing this fusion event! Remember, it’s all about patience.
