Edge: Mech-Ascent Tier List - The Best Characters in the Game to Reroll For
An important aspect in virtually any gacha RPG is farming and grinding in order to pay for pulls and eventually unlock the best characters in the game. In this regard, Edge: Mech-Ascent is no exception as obtaining powerful characters and upgrading will make up most of your day-to-day activities in this new game. Similarly, knowing which heroes to look for and which to skip will help immensely in your progression, especially if you’re rerolling in Edge: Mech-Ascent.
With that being said, this tier list is intended to help give you an idea of the best characters in the game, as well as the ones that you should be avoiding.
Edge: Mech-Ascent Tier List
Before we begin, please remember that if you’re playing Edge: Mech-Ascent on PC with BlueStacks, you can get access to many different tools and features that will considerably improve your experience if you’re rerolling in this game. Feel free to check out our PC setup guide for this game to learn how to get started.
Without further ado, let’s dive into this tier list.
S Tier
The best characters in the game that can often carry entire teams on their backs, without the need for assistance from teammates, are the heroes that you’ll find in this tier.
- NĂwa (Celestial, 5-star Mythic, Mage)
- Michael (Celestial, 5-Star Mythic, Tank)
- Niyue (Demon, 5-Star Mythic, Tank)
- Nidhogg (Demon, 5-Star Mythic, Assassin)
A Tier
Just like with their S-tier counterparts, these heroes are very strong on their own. However, in order to achieve their true potential, they often require assistance from teammates in the form of good team compositions.
- Jin (Beastkin, 5-Star Mythic, Gunner)
- Butterfly (Beastkin, 5-star Legendary, Mage)
- Joy (Human, 5-Star Mythic, Tank)
- Tiger Boy (Beastkin, 5-Star Mythic, Tank)
B Tier
The vast majority of the characters in the game will fall into this tier as these are the average Edge: Mech-Ascent heroes. These are neither excellent nor outright bad, but you’ll still want to replace them as soon as you unlock characters from the other tiers.
- Orangey (Beastkin, 4-star, Assassin)
- Josie (Beastkin, 4-star, Support)
- Russell (Beastkin, 5-Star Mythic, Gunner)
- Mars (Void, 5-Star Mythic, Tank)
C Tier
This tier exists to point out the characters that you’ll want to avoid or skip entirely. Either because their kits don’t conform to the meta, or because they’re just outright weak, you’re better off leaving these ones on the bench.
- Betty (Beastkin, 5-star Legendary, Mage)
- Hunter (Fiend, 5-star Legendary, Gunner)
- Crown Prince (Celestial, 5-star Legendary, Warrior)
- Hunter (Fiend, 5-star Legendary, Gunner)
While we are far from covering every single character in Edge: Mech-Ascent, this tier list should give you a good idea of what to look for when it comes to unlocking the best heroes in the game. Feel free to leave your own tier lists and suggestions in the comments below!
