Puzzle Adventure: Mystery Tale – A Thorough Guide for All Buildings
Puzzle Adventure: Mystery Tale is a unique puzzle solving strategy game that will definitely help budding detectives get their quick mystery murder fix. The story revolves around an orphan who has just turned 18 years old and pushed to become a detective like his Uncle Mort. While puzzle-solving tips and tricks are much in demand, there are several other aspects that beginners should know about. One such aspect are the numerous buildings in your home. This guide will help you familiarize with all the buildings in your home and explain the usage of each of them.
Get Comfortable in your Home!
You will be entering your home after clearing the initial tutorial stage. The lush green surroundings shown in the animation entering your home are just an illusion as you will find many broken pieces of rubble and dust all over. But nothing is permanent and you can easily remove them at the cost of some Coins. After you’ve done uncovering your home from all the nasty dust and bushes, you will be greeted to a host of desecrated buildings. Each building has a billboard next to them which states the purpose of the building and the cost of unlocking it.
Keep in mind, not all buildings can be unlocked instantly by paying the amount of Coins required. For many buildings, you will need to play rigorously and increase your Fame. What is Fame, you might ask? The pink shield icon represents your acquired Fame. It denotes your investigative prowess to the Supernatural Detective Agency. By gaining fame, you will be able to unlock new stages and continue through the story. You obtain Fame primarily by fulfilling story quests. With that out of the way, let’s check out all the buildings in store.
Energy Fountain
Unlike water-based fountains, this one flows with Energy. For those unaware, energy is the key resource required to make moves in story stages and essentially play the game. It is the bread and butter for every player. Maximizing your energy should be the primary goal. Energy Fountain helps you with exactly that. Players can get a fixed amount of energy every hour. Each hour, this fountain reaches its maximum potential and stores energy for the player to replenish. Of course, much like other buildings in Puzzle Adventure: Mystery Tale, this one is also upgradable.
Upgrading the Energy fountain will result in higher energy storage and higher rate of energy generation. You can even increase the storage cap to exceed more than 1 hour.
Laboratory
The laboratory is where you can assemble the weird stuff you discover when snooping around other people’s homes. When you enter the laboratory, you’ll be given up to three recipes to combine with whatever you have on hand, each of which provides a different quantity of energy. If you don’t have enough ingredients, you can opt to buy them with gems, although it’s not recommended. There is no limit to the number of recipes you can craft at a time but each time you craft an item, the recipe for it goes into cooldown for a short period. Essentially, you are only limited by the number of ingredients you have.
Museum
The Museum is the place where you will find access to sacred Artefacts. Players can view their collected Artefacts and redeem the rewards associated with finding them. The museum also provides informal tips as to where you can find artefacts. There will be a message at the bottom of the silhouettes that indicate towards a particular stage where the artefact can be found. If you want more direct clues, you can tap on the silhouettes of artifacts you haven’t finished yet, and the game will guide you to the phases those parts are in.
The Greenhouse
The Greenhouse is an important building that serves as the only way to empower your energy regeneration mechanism. It’s here that you can spend your hard-earned money and blue shards on additional plants that will increase your passive energy regeneration rate. However, before you start frantically tapping those buttons, there are a few things you should know.
Every player starts with the Possessed Lillies, which provide a generous 15 energy per hour. However, after your initial visit to the greenhouse, you’ll notice that your other alternatives in the plant shop aren’t as appealing. Furthermore, you only have one available slot for another plant. The type of plants and slots will increase as you level up. Keep checking the greenhouse for an additional plant slot, and if available, ensure to purchase it ASAP for extra energy. Also, you can’t keep purchasing the same plant over and over. There’s a limit imposed on how many of the same plants you can use.
The Garage
The garage is the rightmost building on the home screen, serving as a counterpart to the greenhouse. The greenhouse enhances your passive energy regeneration rate, whereas the garage raises your maximum energy capacity. Diversity is essential, much like greenhouse plants, so acquire everything possible to maximize your energy limit.
Players can enjoy Puzzle Adventure: Mystery Tale even more on a bigger screen of their PC or Laptop with keyboard and mouse via BlueStacks for an elevated gameplay experience.
