Sword of Convallaria is an upcoming tactical turn-based RPG that features innovative art style, illustrious storyline, and rich combat mechanics that are bound to entice strategy game lovers! While the core gameplay heavily revolves around making the right moves, your heroes do make up an important part of it. A robust roster of powerful heroes is optimal for progressing efficiently in the game.

This guide will help you navigate through the gacha system and set you up for a strong head start! We have elaborated on the game’s innate gacha system which includes the probabilities (rates) of pulling characters, summoning banners, and pity system. Keep in mind, all this information is taken from the ongoing final closed beta test and subject to change upon global release. With that out of the way, let’s begin!

The Gacha System of Sword of Convallaria

Much like every other live-service RPG, Sword of Convallaria also boasts an enticing gacha system through which players can recruit new heroes. The game has different rarities of heroes, ranging from common being the lowest to legendary being the highest. The higher the rarity of the hero, the lower the probability to summon them. To put it precisely, here are the gacha rates on every hero banner:

  • Legendary hero – 2% probability
  • Epic hero – 20% probability
  • Rare hero – 40% probability
  • Common hero – 38% probability

Here are the gacha rates on every weapon banner:

  • Legendary weapon – 5% probability
  • Epic weapon – 50% probability
  • Rare weapon – 25% probability
  • Common weapon – 20% probability

These probabilities are fixed for all banners, unless mentioned otherwise.

The Pity System

The pity for summoning a legendary hero/weapon is set at 100 summons. Pity is cumulative, which means it will continue forward to the next banners as well. Pity is shared between hero event banners but not between the standard weapon and hero banner.

It’s imperative to learn about all the different currencies used to pull for new heroes in the different gacha banners. The core currencies are as follows:

  • Hope Luxite – The core theme of the game is hope, and this currency is hope solidified. Players can get more Hope Luxite by venturing through the story mode, quests, achievements, events, redeem codes, dev mail rewards, pre-registration rewards, and more.
